Deserved victory from Madrid. They wanted the win more and it was the right result.

Also, one of the few times were Atletico were beaten when it comes to intensity.

Carlo playing Ramos was a masterstroke. Completely Nullified Atletico, and Ramos is more of a goal threat than Illara could ever hope to be.

carlo doesn't like illaramendi, its just that simple. i heard he was even contemplating playing khedira, but according to guillem balague "that won't have been the politically correct move to make". i think his issue with illara goes beyond the pitch, it might be a training or locker room issue that we are not aware of, considering the fact that the chances the kid has gotten are few and far between. if that's the case,(which i think it is, because illara's no scrub) i at least respect the fact that it is being kept in-house, and not a soap opera

I doubt it's a dressing room problem, Illara, seems like a very calm kid. He plays with very little confidence, and Carlo is not going to play someone like that, especially in a Cl semi. It's a shame because he is very talented, maybe when he goes to a club little to no expectations he'll thrive, like Arsenal.
