Decent stuff but only half chances really. Benzema probably should have belted one with his left foot when Varaneth Bale burned that Atleti player for serious pace.

Not sure who it was (Godin maybe?) backed off slightly but I guess Benzema already had his mind and motion made up.

Best chance was Bale in the second minute 1v1 with the goalie but of course he misses it. James' had a great shot too which oblak brilliantly saved. We are unlucky none of these chances are falling Ronaldo's way because he is our best scorer

Atleti can score from any attacks so we need to be wary. Calamity Ramos nearly gifted them one but Greasman's shot was too weak

Kroos, Varane, Carvajal having 10/10 games so far. Just brilliant stuff

I'm still laughing at the ref, TBH, Mandzukic is still face-bleeding all over the pitch yet he's the one that got booked. Ramos manages this feat in every other game, it's like sorcery!

Honestly, not a good result for Real Madrid but then again, we lost 4-0 the last time we played there so I guess some improvement was made.

Also, Ramos clearly wanted Atletico to win.
