Woulda been perfect if Barca actually got a legit transfer bann where they cant buy a player till winter transfer (none of this BS buy but cant play till jan crap). Woulda saved the 40m for a quality player Sad

Waste of money, gonna be right up there with the Chrygygygys/brazilian money mule and Ibra-Etoo deal.

Then why not buy one of the biggest names floating around. That would be proof. Would anyone consider the signing of Arda Turan proof that he can attract top talent? Those people wouldn't be following football for sure.

That's my point, it's a ridiculous transfer from every single angle we look at it from. Makes no sense.

As Laporta said, the board only started to say Turan and fell back on him once it was clear they wouldn't be able to land Pogba.

Just who the hell benefits from this transfer including even Bart? When Alex Song was being purchased I remember saying this was like throwing money in the ocean and doing charity with the same money would be better. This time it feels almost the same but with more amount of money being thrown in the ocean.

So out of the 41M we are paying, we can say "Hey Atletico, we don't want him after all", and they will HAVE to take him back? And we end up paying the difference, which is 18M or whatever?

WHY NOT JUST WAIT UNTIL JULY 20th FOR THE NEW BOARD TO DECIDE. Jesus christ....
