Gladbach are meh tbf, they only beat us 1-0 in pre season and we lost to Canadian 3rd division teams who party with B-Mac on the sly when they are supposed to be playing a game.

Were Kruse and Kramer really this important to them or something, why are they so bad this season? It's not like they've lost their whole team or anything. And they've more than enough replaced Kruse with Drmic.

Unfortunately they were. Max Kruse perfectly fit into the attack the way Favre envisioned it and he had an enormous workrate. Chris Kramer was the duracell bunny who closed every single hole in midfield and allowed Granit Xhaka to be somewhat more attacking and gave him more time and space to distribute the ball to the attackers.

Then half the defense has been out with Martin Stranzl (as he broke some bone in his face against Hamburg, he is out again for several weeks) and Álvaro Dominguez, and Roel Brouwers just doesn't have the legs anymore, while Andreas Christensen and Nico Elvedi are simply too green behind the ears yet.
