I thought Hamburg could pull it off this week and build some momentum going into next matchday but they always seem to disappoint.

Re: The Bundesliga Thread
Oh, also, I started following the Bundesliga in earnest last year (before then only casually, and mostly for players that were interesting). Had to pick a team and I went with Frankfurt. I really enjoy watching them play. Stendera and Oczipka are awesome. <3 Plus they have Castaignos who I've always liked even if he didn't live up to the hype.
On their game today...Stuttgart were unfortunate not to score more early on, but after the keeper was off especially Frankfurt really took advantage well. Castaignos had a great game...hopefully he can build confidence from this performance (2 goals and a peno earned) because he really stunted his development over the last couple of years. We really need it because otherwise we're looking at Luuk de Jong to succeed RVP and Huntelaar...lol
Also Frankfurt have some of the nicest kits in football IMO.

Guess we can't sell Dante to Leverkusen now, seeing that we play them next Saturday
Or we just go with the Rafinha-Alaba-Bernat 3 man backline
We went ahead and sold Dante anyway, to Wolfsburg
Lahm-Alaba-Bernat backline it was
Thank you Dante

Dedé's Testimonial Match
Sport1 just shows Dede's testimonial match. Dedé (who has been at Borussia Dortmund for 13 years) had his last match for Dortmund 4 (four!) years ago, and today, the Signal-Iduna-Park is sold out with exactly 81359 people watching Dedé's Good-bye match.
Players involved:
Dedes Nationalelf: Jens Lehmann, Roman, Weidenfeller, Stefan Reuter, Jörg Heinrich, Marc-Andre Kruska, Otoo Addo, Knut Reinhardt, Christian Wörns, Patrick Owomoyela, Thomas Hengen, Dedé, Kevin Großkreutz, Torsten Frings, Florian Kringe, Thomas Hässler, Giuseppe Reina, Giovanni Federico, Francis Bugri, Heiko Herrlich, Kevin Kuranyi, David Odonkor, Fredi Bobic, Lars Ricken.
Dedes World Selection: Marc Ziegler, Teddy de Beer, Sergej Barbarez, Tinga, Neven Subotic, Felipe Santana, Rafinha, Julio Cesar, Mladen Petric, Marques, Ewerthon, Mohamed Zidan, Ailton, Lincoln, Miroslav Stevic, Evanilson, Nuri Sahin, Dedé, Paulo Sergio, Marcio Amoroso, Jan Koller, Alexander Frei.
Referee: Babak Rafati
Here's the stream: http://tv.sport1.de/sport1/
(German / Austrian / Swiss proxy needed)
The mother of all tap-ins: the 1:0 was a real screamer by Jan Koller (idly standing at the right post), and Jens Lehmann (in grey) didn't look good at all.
Dedé celebrating with the fans after scoring the penalty leading to the 4:3
Dedé thanks the referees for giving him the penalty after his spectacular dive XD
Even Ex-Schalke player Kevin Kuranyi dons the black+yellow to honour Dedé
Full house in Dortmund: The Südtribüne
Even Norbert Dickel is subbed in - and scores a penalty
A Last Good-bye: Leonardo de Deus Santos - Dedé

I had one German program as a kid, DSF, would wake up every morning just to see the highlights... They also had Serie A highlights, my heart would jump when they say Inter Mailand, as I didn't have internet, Serie A wasn't shown and my TV had no teletext, so that is where I would find out the results

Re: The Bundesliga Thread
Sport1 is the new name of the good ol' DSF. And yeah, that testimonial match was really something, considering who all came there to say farewell to Dedé who is/was one of the most beloved BVB players ever.

Claudio Pizarro is back in Bremen after his contract at Bayern expired, set to sign for for Werder for the 3rd time in his career.
Greeted by fans upon arrival, though my first impression was that it's not a good sign he would have to get there using a walking frame
