Arsenal are ready to switch their attentions to Edinson Cavani as the Karim Benzema transfer saga drags on.

Reports in Spain say the Gunners will approach PSG for discussions about Cavani.

Arsene Wenger is apparently a long-term admirer of the Uruguayan, who has been linked with a move away from th French capital.

The striker's relationship with Laurent Blanc is reportedly at an all-time low, making a move possible.

I've seen him few times but i can't remember much. Just remember his fifa stats which are quite good.

I've plenty of great things to say about him. He's better than Coquelin; similar styles but Krychowiak is over six foot and much stronger. Just a beast of a holding midfielder.

It won't happen, though. He's got a release clause, so you'd think if we wanted him we would have gone and took advantage of that by now. Moreover, if Wenger didn't want to spend on Schneiderlin, is he really going to dish out for Krychowiak? I have my doubts.

Grzegorz Krychowiak is an interesting one. James Olley from Evening Standard reporting that the board want him but not Wenger.

I hope this is true, about time our board shows some ambition. Sick of Wenger having total power at Arsenal.

So with Rosicky needing surgery and looking more and more unlikely to be able to play many games this season, and with Wilshere being Wilshere, does anyone think we should bring in another midfielder this summer?

Next summer with Arteta and Rosicky being 35/36 and Flamini being rubbish we should already have some targets in mind to reinforce that part of the pitch. I just wonder if, given recent fitness concerns, it might be worthwhile bringing one of those targets in early, if possible.

Otherwise we're not going to have many midfield options off the bench.

Given the fact they're all facing the end of their contracts too, yes. We could definitely use with a CM as it is, let alone thinking about when we'll be losing three next summer.
