Maybe not regista but as a DM he was world class last season, and I love him there.

I am sure that healthy Khedira is a great football player, but can he stay fit?

Surely people know that Khedira isn't a DM or DLP by now?

His best asset is, and has always been his offensive runs and stamina, everything else.. meh.

I didn't care  much about Shaqiri to Stoke because he was shite here ( I still don't get why Perisic would be really worse than him )  but I am sad for Kovacic.
Kovacic is definitely a great talent, but he is not worthy of 40 mln atm.
He has room of improvement though. Just 1994 and quality.
He is surely a CM  , nothing to do with CAM.
Italian clubs can't refuse similar offeres anymore , even we are a springboard   for other markets as Liga and Premier ...dem good ole times when we signed Ronaldo
My main  nervousness is that we won't reinvest that money , but it will be for balance sheet to smother with those signings made earlier.

Marchisio has 10 times more abilities as a regista than Illaramendi FFS. Whoever doubts Marchisio's skills, in ANY position in midfield, just doesnt watch Juve or Serie A, simple as that.

Marchisio will be the "Pirlo" in this new Juve. (I meant in how he is gonna play, not in ability of course).

Not only have Inter sold Shaqiri only to try and replace him with Perisic, now they are selling Kovacic aswell

It's obvious our mngn have no vision for the future but always are in a rush to get what they percieve as the "best" deal at that moment. This is nothing new at the club and as such we aint even mad.

I have seen Illara play a few times in RM (i know it doesnt count as much). Seen him enough to understand why he doesnt get any minutes in RM, whatever role they try to deploy him TBH.

Yes and isco at cm is the best ever almost as good as modric.

Anyway the reality why he didnt play was because carlo was being a douche and destroying his confidence purposely and let skip over the fact Madrid didn't lose a game with him as a starter.

It honestly doesn't count as much. Illara really is under utilised at this club which isn't a strange thing, we do that a lot. But he is a good footballer particularly in the "regista" role. Would he be a plus at Juve, maybe but I prefer Madrid actually make this relationship work damn it.

Okay ill try to be logical about this. Kovacic is yet to consistently perform at the level we want him to, and for his money we can get perisic, Motta, and a LB. We'll be a stronger team overall. That said we're losing one of the best prospects in the world who could explode into something big given the right circumstances. Ive always beleived that its better to have a few good players rather than a great player if we're gonna get back into the CL, but now this is happening i really dont like it.
