It's actually a good deal for Marseille. they get rid of a scrub who is mindlessly overrated, wtf are you doing mole, and they get the equivalent for half the money (that they will pay in 2016), who fits more into their team, and who has arguably accomplished more in FRance.

Who even told u Thauvin was good? ffs

He's clearly talented Nick lol.

I agree it's a good deal for Marseille though, i'm not happy about getting rid of Cabella to get him but to be frank Thauvin's skillset is more suitable to the English game.

I would have preferred to keep Cabella but the club have clearly decided that there he's quite far down the pecking order as far as the No 10 spot goes as we have about 4 of them lol.

Thauvin on the other hand can actually be effective on the wings, where as Cabella couldn't. I would prefer to sign Thauvin and keep Cabella and start him behind the striker and have Thauvin basically replace Ben Arfa lol.

It's a risk but if he fulfills his potential it can work out for us.

And before anyone says Thauvin is a #10, Ben Arfa thought that when he left France as well Laughing

He'll quickly realise the same that in England he simply isn't. Besides his best asset like Ben Arfa is his dribbling ability not his playmaking lol.

When have you ever signed a player that wasnt talented?

look my point is, he is not very good. But as far as him being a better winger than Cabella, sure, but good luck because he is not consistent, and his performances last year where nothing to be impressed by.

I'm aware he's not consistent Nick, but to be frank who in the Newcastle team is? We have Sissoko, Wijnaldum, De Jong, a couple of kids and a host of shite DMs.

This forum didn't get as great as it is through laziness, but through the work and discipline of our terrific mods and admins.

Really wish us regular posters would at least make an effort smh
