We were never good enough to compete in the CL to begin with just good enough to finish second in a fairly weak and unpredictable league .
also , Our two best players from last season aren't here .. Fekir is injured and Lacazette hasn't found full form yet .

They should have just closed their eyes then and imagined it's a Europa League group instead. Looking at the teams, it might've been just as well
