I slightly changed my mind about Pogba. I'd prefer a playmaker who comes towards the ball and distributes it as often as possible but I realized this team actually doesn't need that type of player anymore. Pogba has the skills and physicality to be a perfect fit alongside Iniesta, a much better Rakitic basically. € 100M + that parasite agent + superstar wage demands is still ridiculous though and I doubt the club can afford it.

New contract for Neymar soon I doubt we can put up with that along with the Pogba signing. Will probably settle for a cheaper option like Pjanic instead which wouldnt be the best but also not the worst outcome.

isn't it funny how Song who is getting near 7-9m a year is still getting wages from us despite being loaned out.
we can't sell him because no one wants to match or improve his wages.
once we sell him (in a year or two) add mascherano and mathieu, adriano also leaving the wage bill will decrease rather drastically

I mean it's quiet simple although unpopular..
just try and bargain for a much better shirt sponser with either Qatar or another company.
when we first signed the deal it was a crazy amount of money but after several years it really doesn't make too much of a dent compared to other shirt sponsers.

Were not broke, but a key financial ratio (I think ebitda / debt interest payments) is at 3.2. Unless the board is able to bring it down to 2.75 within the next 2 years the statutes of the board stipulate that they must all resign and will be unable to run for rent election. So everyone thinks we are not going to make any expensive signings as a result.

I guess you're 'broke' because you're already counting the 80-100m you'll be paying for Pogba. So maybe the fees for some depth signings will have to be a little more moderate

i know it's probably unlikely but worth a shot.. only thing that holds me back from liking him is his constant injuries.

When he's been injury free he's a monster, but no way Bayern depart with him especially since he just signed till 2019 with them. He's likely to go follow Pep then come back here.

luis enrique was his first barca coach (in the b team) im sure he has some appeal to thiago maybe not as much as pep but yeah.
