The reasoning simply doesnt cut it im afraid, you lose all creditibility and assume all blame when you play Mathieu (not one good LB performance yet) or Adriano instead of giving the boy a chance. I am not saying start Grimaldo, im not even saying make him a rotation player with Alba...but not even a single minute of meaningful action? Thats Mourinho level.

Same with Samper and Masdcherano in the midfield.

Samper is even more dramatic as even Gumbau has had chances ffs.

@Alex, yes this season so far has been an eyesore, but it's just 7 games so far. I disagree that last season was an eyesore, it was very entertaining and more Cruyffist than Tata's rubbish.

Kuyt, Sergio Garcia, Negredo and Soriano? are they f*n kiddin? it's hard to find a poorer shortlist. Why would you want to sign those players if they aren't really an improvement to Munir and Sandro?

I find a description like that very odd. I understand if they're writing it to make it seem like they're chasing a type and not just Pogba, but really, if the club can't get Pogba, what other physically strong midfielder is out there that would improve this Barcelona side? I've only watched your European games thus far but that hardly qualifies as a list of what you need in midfield in my eyes.

Also isn't that the first one a description of Vermaelen? Laughing

Only for PSG because they threatened to sue, but UEFA is still applying it to everyone else. Man City went stupid because they're finally in a position to justify the expense.

nope still near 66 % but after Pogba signs that big ass contract wage budget will go near 70 or above.

Nor is Laporte a possibility. € 40M+ buyout clause and Athletic won't negotiate as usual. As if Bart will put in the effort and pay that much for a defender.

I doubt Gimenez will be available at all, to you. But he seems to potentially be the most available.

It's a typical, delusional, made-up list by the Catalan gossip papers. They'll buy Diaby or, if we are slightly luckier, Mustafi (and overpay in the process for his buyout clause) and that'll be it.

Mentioning Marquinhos, even for banter, isn't funny anymore. Nasser hates Barca since Rosell and Co. tried to unsettle Thiago Silva, PSG have unlimited cash and they have a serious project ongoing. They aren't Monaco or Malaga, their top players are not for sale.
