He is smarter. He knows he cannot beat Messi and co. so he joined them. Ronaldo has a similar trophy tally (I mean the ones that matter not the "who is hotter contest") as Suarez in Barca even though he is at RM for ages.

Its my personal opinion, I want Suarez to lead another giant and be considered separately, I think he has enough talent to be remembered as someone who was not fodder for Messi throughout his career.

Honestly I think he's better than Messi at this point, and if the latter was not the club's golden child he would be the face of the club. The passion he brings even to the most benign of matches is simply unparalleled.

I second nishanky's point tbh.. Guys like Suarez and Neymar would be even bigger stars if they played for other clubs and challenge messi and ronaldo week in and week out.

As it stands, whatever happens, people will always refer to them as messi dishwahers which is a travesty in itself, since they have the talent to challenge and defeat messi by playing against him.

Playing with an all time great like messi would only make you hesitate and mostly feed on scraps especially when you're the type that needs the ball to pull things off.

You can only achieve true greatness when u take risks but here, you'll never attain that when u only try to play it easy most of the time or mainly relying on scraps.

So my point is this, suarez can challenge for the balon d'or if he were in a different team. But in barca, he'll always be a by-product of messi and Neymar.

Btw, yes, messi is better than Neymar and suarez, let's not get carried away here.

lol I don't care if Messi or Suarez or Neymar is better. They all have a legitimate claim to be among the top 3 players in the world and they are playing together. After 2008 - 2011 Barca once again possesses the 3 best players in the world. :wub:
