Navas like Ronaldo is a supreme athlete. Iker relied on talent alone with poor work ethic. Navas is the opposite. I have no doubt thst he will keep this level up for years

You obviously have not watched Iker's career. besides being a top portero for most of his career, he was noted for a killer pass (throw) or kick. For a portero he was amazingly accurate. your simply saying no, just shows how little you have seen of him.
i see you are so set on Navas you are ignoring basic facts and to say you have no doubt that Navas will still be in top for at age 33, just again demonstates how inflexible you are!
This summer market is likely the last opportunity we have for the next 3 years. we can keep the Asensios and Vallejos, out on loan and bring them home when needed, but other than Canteros that's it. we have to make the moves this summer. banking on a good but not elite portero that will be over 30 is not a risk the club should be taking.

Re: Real Madrid Fans, Do You want Navas to Stay?
Again Iker at no point in his career has been a good kicker. In fact that was his only weakpoint during his prime
The only reason DDG is even mentioned in the same breath as Navas is because he is spanish. Imagine if Lloris was spanish and DDG was french. Nobody would even bat an eyelid towards DDG while always going on about Lloris. I used him as an example because he has been better than DDG in PL and actually a difference between a loss and a draw. One of the main reasons why Spurs have conceed so few goals.
Again nobody mentions him because he is not spanish. Navas is a level above both of those and thats how he will stay for the rest of his career

Ronaldo has slowed down thats him. He still bangs in 30+ goals in the league alone a season. Top scorer in both LaLiga and CL. For a guy thats deteriorated thats some huge haul wouldnt you think
Ronaldo was never a creator only one to latch onto through balls and score. When he is asked to do to much his flaws are shown. Like him Navas might lose reflex ability but that is going to be well in his 30th and by that time DDG would have regressed anyways

Another match to show why our goal keeper position is the very, extremely last thing we need to be thinking about.

No matter what navas does, de Gea will always be rated higher by some people on this forum. What a joke

He is a very good portero, I'll give you that. And looking at a change for just next year, it's about even as to who would be best. However the question you should be asking, given this summer is last chance we have to restock for 3 years, is how is a 33 year old Navas going to compare to a De Gea at 27 years, in 3 years time?

Re: Real Madrid Fans, Do You want Navas to Stay?
You seem thoroughly convinced that Navas will regress while De Gea won't, based solely on one important, albeit insufficient criterion: age. Your argument is quite inaccurate, I'm afraid.
Truth is, Navas has been better than DDG this season and he deserves a chance to continue with us. If he fails to maintain this magnificent form next season and DDG stays consistently great with United, then by all means, sell him and bring in the Spanish boy.
But as things stand, it would be criminally unfair to sell someone who has been, by far, the best player of Real Madrid - a player who never lets fame or glory deter his humility, a player who bleeds every single game for the white shirt of Madrid.
Navas over De Gea any day of the week.

No, it's not even. Navas is better based on performances.
Here's a question, if De Gea was Algerian but was the exact same player would you still want him just as bad? Thought so.
