Really hope this one is great. Needs to get back on track. As I've said before Sicario was a disappointment for me.

Let me tell you something there are only 5 Directors in the world that I would go to the cinema to watch every single one of their movies.
Fincher
Nolan
Scorsese
Tarantino
and Villeneuve.
The enjoyment that I get watching his movies has now put him in my top 5 favorite directors. This is a must see for me.
Ben Affleck just misses out. But he's the next in line for me.
Fincher
Nolan
Scorsese
Tarantino
and Villeneuve.

My top 10 would probably be
Fincher
Scorsese
Steve McQueen
Affleck
Tarantino
Nolan
Matthew Vaughn
Villeneuve
PTA
Coens
Others: Mel Gibson, Cuaron, James Cameron and Doug Liman
All those are someone I'd watch from on name alone tbh.
Cameron would be so high if he made more than one every decade. Same with Cuaron and Gibson.
Probably forgetting some others also.

Yes I have.
Amazing movie. 9/10. One of my favorite foreign films. I pride myself in calling the whole twist very early in the movie. The movie is nothing short of a masterpiece of its genre. I had tears by the end.
- MAJOR SPOILER DO NOT LOOK UNLESS YOU'VE SEEN THE MOVIE:
- The whole movie was a tear jerker but the part that caught me right in the feels was the bus scene, where she took that women's daughter to save her and you could see the look in the womans eye of sacrifice herself for her daughter. AND THEN BAM THEY SHOOT THE *bleep* KID. I had nightmares man from that scene. "]
It was after watching this film that Denis Villeneuve became one of my favorite directors.
Incendies, Prisoners, Enemy, Sicario is one hell of a resume.

The girl with the dragon tattoo (2011)
Wow what a film. No one sets a universe up like Fincher does when it comes to mystery and thriller. Fantastic film. Great directing and great performances as well. Daniel Craig didn't even bother hiding the british accent lmao.
Heard the 2nd book isn't being adapted. Which is a shame. Might read the books themselves now.
8.2/10
Only have The Social Network left now.
so far
1) Se7en
2) Zodiac
3) The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo
4) Gone Girl/The Game
5) The Game/Gone Girl
6) Panic Room
7) Fightclub

nah watch Heat you POS
Sausage Party reviews
I was watching the swedish sequel to the girl with the dragon tattoo earlier, seemed pretty good, it's odd they didn't want to adapt the other books in english because it was profitable and reviewed well from what I recall, although i think I read that the studio simply couldn't get everyone back on board to film it due to schedules

I don't know if it actually was profitable. It might have broken even, but hard to tell after considering marketing etc.
Also think Fincher demanded something 20-30m to come back. Rooney Mara really wanted to do it though, understandably. I'd have wanted someone else than Fincher doing t. Waste using him on remakes

The Rock and Vin Diesel feuding on the Fast 8 set. The Rock seems like a bitch tbh. Calling his co-workers out on Instagram is such a weak move.
His ego is enormous and I doubt Vin is any better.

Re: The Movie House - Part 7
Are Rock and Vin Diesels FNF characters feuding in the next movie? If they are this is such a publicity stunt
Milked Paul Walkers death dry now let's try to create back stage heat between the two biggest names in the movie.
If not, well, wouldn't expect the Rock of all people to start a public instagram beef ffs People laugh at kids for doing that. Sort it out behind closed doors.

Could very well be publicity. But The Rock has the biggest ego I've ever seen, not even close. He's entertaining as all hell though but I could see how he's beefing with people.

I read somewhere that Dwayne Johnson just became the highest paid actor. Don't know for when. This year, or what? lol
All I know is that the Keanue Reeves has earnedthe most money ever from a single movie.

Over a 12 month span Rock earned the most. Impressive stuff. Although I imagine a lot of that has to do with him popping up everywhere and some of the biggest names in Hollywood are a lot more picky with what projects they take on.

Pretty sure Robert Downey has the record for salary. He gets 50m$ for every Marvel film. Others that earn more than him are percentages of gross though, which Keanu probably leads for The Matrix roles where I think he got percentages. Tom Cruise for MI films, but he's a producer, so not really counting that.

Well, Robert Downey made 100m$ from Avengers and Civil War combined. But they have a weird 12 months of judging this. Should be from january to december and not july to june.

Guess it's just good that a lot of people appreciate mindless action. And somebody like the Rock is tailor made for that. So he can earn amongst the big boys purely because he's a jacked ex Sports entertainer
