I have a feeling we'll trade Randle and 2nd overall for Simmons (maybe also 32nd overall.

Simmons seems like he wants to be a Lakers player.

I don't care anymore. We got him or Ingram. It's finally brighter times after 4 horrible years

Also tbf. If anyone deserved the pick, it's probably 76ers.

Boston: They're a great team, who got lucky a team imploded after a trade. Also a great franchise.

Timberwolves: Got KAT next year who looks a sure double digit All-Star player at the worst.

Lakers: Got a good young core and a whole lot of spending power. Next most winningest franchise ever.


No matter what you think of the process, 76ers have had it hardest.

Also just imagine we got Randle, Russell and Ingram/Simmons out of a pick we traded. Great clause we had on that pick.

Not really lucky. Pierce and Garnett were in their mid 30's, I think we all knew they had a year or two window and that was it.


and yeah, rigged. Not from this year especially but after the Cleveland incident where you had a better shot of being struck by lightning twice in one day than winning the lottery 4x. You will never convince me it's not rigged after that.

3rd pick may as well be 9th for all I care.

He's probably the 3rd best player in the draft, I think we have to take him.

I'd prefer Hield or Dunn before Dragon Bender too. I could be very wrong but I see him being over drafted because of the success Porzingis had. He's not KP. Doesn't have the J, the length, the weight, the rebounding ability. Also only played 400 minutes last year, NCAA prospects played 1200+. Bust potential through the roof.

I think you'll trade it. Else I would go for a forward, isn't that something you need? You've already got 12 guards.

2nd overall could turn out to be a blessing in disguise if Brandon Ingram turns out well. He seems to be able to play the 3 better than Simmons in regards to space out the floor.

Can't see Randle fitting in if we end up with Simmons. Ingram is def the best fit. He just needs to gain a lot of muscle. I don't want that Durant-like body, no matter how amazing Durant is.

Don't know what we'll do in FA. Could see us going for Barnes and Whiteside. No idea how that'll impact Randle. Randle has an amazing attitude and I want him to stay.

The problem is if say Butler(Boogie is not getting traded this summer, I'm sure he's a big reason Joerger took that job) becomes available, the Lakers can beat anything we offer with the 2nd pick. At that point it just depends on if Kupchak wants to give up #2/Russell. I think that's what it will take.

If we stay put, maybe Bender isn't so bad since he probably has the highest ceiling. I'd prefer Murray though. I'd take Dunn if we could move Smart for a big somehow, but if not I hope Dunn ends up on the Wolves.
