It can happen (both of them). You've just said it like it's 100% and there will be no other possibilities. I hope it will be more than that, for the sake of my fav club.

Tbf if we win the league in the 2nd season, until and unless we are dead cert for relegation or something I cant see our board, sacking Mourinho in the 3rd season. We have much more patience than some of the other clubs out there in that regard.

Yep. Only if we win the league. lol. Woody and co. will be celebrating and parading all over the globe the entire 3rd year our success that they wont even notice where we lie that season. Jose can even take a vacation. Only has to make sure we wont get relegated and he will keep his job going into the 4th season.

However seeing a Man city fan ridiculing other clubs on the account of overpaying on a young player or any player for that matter is simply lmaoworthy.
How much did you spent on center backs alone in the last couple of windows again m8 ? And you are going to buy center backs again right ??
Spending 120 mil on pogbito is nothing if you compare it with shelling out 50 mil each on plebs like mangala and sterling. And every football fan knows Had Pep wanted Pogba you would have happily bent over and paid even 250mil to Juvi. So with all due respect m8 stop spewing bs!
These logic fallacy Beside throwing out a list of players that add up to what Pogba will cost. Please give me a reason why its an great transfer? Breaking the Transfer Record on a player that has never either won a Ballon d'or (like ) or was PL player of the year (Bale).
If overpaying on a young player is simply lmaoworthy, what is paying €120m for a player you let go 4 years ago for free? Simply Retarded perhaps?

If we were interested, we wouldn't have let United gain this much ground on him in the first place.
Plus, we have just turned down an €85m bid for James, clearly the club has no intention of going after Pogba.
Honestly, I think people are just throwing the name "Real Madrid" there to spice up the "Pogba war". But in reality, there's no war, it's a one-horse race and only United is interested.

I know there is a bit of a joke in there, but that is a pretty scary notion considering how frequently Mourinho has lost the dressing room in recent years. Would MU allow that?

Usually Real should be all over Pogba.
Biggest hype, check, spectacular player, check, transfer ban incoming, check, French coach, check.
There's one reason, and one reason only if Real don't go the full length to beat Utd for his signature, and that is that Perez is a racist which is well known and documented.

Re: Build Up: Pogba to United
Tbh we were priced out of the Neymar deal too and he would have cost us as much as Pogba. Perez wanted Neymar and didn't even go for him due to his valuation. This isn't even including the fact that Perez does not like midfielders unless they play close to goal.

Every racism is selective. That's kind of the point. Don't think you'll find an absolutely comprehensive and even-handed racist anywhere

Exactly. I can rephrase if you like, it's maybe not "well known and documented" that Perez is a racist, it is however a malicious rumour with relatively little or no evidence.
That's good enough for me, and not signing Pogba is further proof.

There's another reason though; the astronomical price of the Frenchman.
You still remember how crazy Flo was about signing Bale? He was all over him, practically proposed to him. But even then, this is what he said at the time during the negotiations with Tottenham's Levy:
€100m is too much for any player
If he said that about a player he worshiped, imagine what his thought was when he first heard about Juventus' asking price for a player he doesn't even idolize that much?

Re: Build Up: Pogba to United
DoC... you're ignoring that we struck out with Neymar that summer and Flo did not want Barca to get the last word. He needed to deflect attention from his failure to get the player he really wanted. In typical Flo style, he went on a crazy spending spree so nobody would pay attention.
We don't have that this summer. There is no public or PR pressure to make a splash.

Juvefc.com @juvefcdotcom
"Not expecting any updates on Pogba this weekend. Marotta is skiing at Monte Bel Culo until Monday..."
So Raiola is in Miami suntanning and Marotta is skiing in some arse place. Looks like this saga is gonna drag on for awhile...
Fabio Fica has also reported this news so it must be true...

Re: Build Up: Pogba to United
How many times does this Perez racism non sense need to be debunked? He signed Lass and Adebayor (Danilo/Marcelo/Casemiro too since Neymar is apparently black)
Like i said, Real will get Pogba, this isn't backed by evidence just a gut feeling, quote me

Re: Build Up: Pogba to United
Will Juve be willing to lower the prices if Real permit them to keep pog for a couple of years on loan. I think they will be. Perhaps thats the way its going to pan out. Real dont necessarily need him this season tbf and Juve can try to achieve their goal of winning the cl in the meantime.

Who said buying pogba is a great transfer. You are picking words out for your convenience. I said buying Pogba is a great deal if you compare it with the deals you lot have done over the past few years.
Its like throwing stones at others from inside a glass house, what you are doing here.
And about the part of letting him go for free and getting him back, again its about the quality of the player at he end of the day. No one will bring up how much he cost if he starts to perform consistently. Something your 50 mil buys havent been able to do until now.
