Re: 2016/17 Europa League
I was born in Lyon ffs.
Also, Utd did quite well in those mad conditions, expect them to seal the tie. Lyon-Roma was absolutely delightful, glad I watched that. Also also, Brendan doing more than Klopp this season, justice for Curtinho imo.

Think this game has sealed your fanship for them officially. Great club to support too. Amazing atmosphere, great fans (bunch of primadonnas), great stadium, history and the best city in France too. I hope to see it as your second team.
you're right in that it did start somewhat due to FIFA, but it was actually back when they had Gourcuff (I was a Gourcuff fanboy and thought he would be GOAT) and Bastos days
starting following them again because of Fekir, Tolisso, Lacazette and now Depay moving there
the ironic thing is that the majority of my fathers family are from Marseille and are die-hard Marseille fans that would disapprove
No I believe you and would respect if you follow them further beyond this talent pool they have which was mostly post-Puel and was incepted by Garde, who built most of this team. Lyon will never be a flash in the pan as inevitably the big clubs will pry off Laca and Fekir etc but they will always be relevant. Keep a close eye on them as they are frustrating but moments like this game are not rare in them. Ligue 1 is a better and stronger league than you think friend. And only will get better from here.
As for your family, I agree. Keep it under the wraps

Totally agree, I symphatize with Lyon since Inter faced it in Uefa '97-'98 . But I preferred the Gerland, not a fan of modern stadiums
Agreed Fra. Gerland is one of the most fun and natural stadiums in the world to be at. Always a beautiful atmosphere and presence and cant wait for them to renovate it.

Re: 2016/17 Europa League
Guys we still got Diakhaby, Morel, and potentially Yanga-Mbiwa in defense for the second leg 3-0 or 3-1 for Roma is a very likely score if our attack doesn't step up. We're just as inconsistent as they are.
On a side note, the 4 goal scorers tonight are all youth products.

Lyon
Farfan we did it ffs
Although 4-2 is still favouring Roma since they can easily score 3-4 at home and their defence is better there lol.

Is Fekir back to his best? He wasn't the same when he came back from injury, but it seems he has found his footing?

Getting thrashed by Lyon so they could avoid getting hammered by United again. Safe thinking from Roma.

Fekir wasn't key here, he came on at the 70th minute.

Re: 2016/17 Europa League
Tbh, I'm not even surprised. Both sides only played 45 mins, Lyon simply did more with theirs than we did with ours..
I can see us scoring the required 2 goals in the next leg. Just not seeing a clean sheet to go with it.
The Ides of March strike again.

Re: 2016/17 Europa League
Lyon is probably going to lose all 3 of Lacazette, Tolisso, and Fekir this summer.
Sad state of affairs.

Looking at today's games and I only now realise Celta Vigo is still in this competition. Anyway, a lil bump for today.

Re: 2016/17 Europa League
Lyon-Roma was great to watch last time, it should be really fun again. Looking forward to it.
Roma finally won after 3 losses in a row. So they are in a bit better spirits than they were going into the first leg probably. Season defining match for Roma.
I think Roma wins tonight, not sure that it will be enough to overturn the 4-2 in france.

Charlie Stillitano predicted a 3-1 Roma win on the Football Show this morning. He is usually pretty good at predictions. Should give Roma fans some hope.

Re: 2016/17 Europa League
May they go all the way. The LFP didn't want to help us make sure the game went ahead. Let us play it in June, serves them right
The lolz if Celta win the cup probably won't though. They'll flop against the big teams
