Still rather Allegri tbh
Rather 1-0 to 4th place than 5-4

Basically don't care who leaves, so long as Wenger goes too. Let's collect the transfer fee's and have a new beginning.

Yea agreed. Apart from Koscielny and Ramsey, I have no attachment to anyone anymore.

Re: The Official Summer Transfer Rumours Thread
I'd be upset with a Tuchel appointment personally. He has won 0 trophies in his career and his Dortmund team has 43 points from 23 games this season. To put that into perspective: we have played 3 more games and have 7 more points in what has been a disastrous season.
I know we just want someone new but I am not convinced that Tuchel would improve us at all. I'd much rather appoint a winner than risk taking the 'grass is greener' approach and going with someone else based purely on their current club's name.
Simeone and Allegri are the only managers that we're being linked to who are acceptable appointments for me.

Re: The Official Summer Transfer Rumours Thread
Just for laughs, here's a Daily Star speculation on Allegri's XI at Arsenal
Donnarumma
Mustafi - Chiellini - Koscielny
Bellerin - Ramsey - Xhaka - Wilshere - Alex Sandro
Morata - Welbeck

Wow, what is the Daily Star?
Donnarumma, Chiellini, Alex Sandro
and Allegri doesn't even like the 3-5-2.

Worst offense is Morata - Welbeck frontline, combining a total of 10 goals together in a season.

Re: The Official Summer Transfer Rumours Thread
When Alexis goes, who (if anyone) do you think the club might target as a replacement?
Hard to project what will happen since we don't know Wenger's future or possible replacements. But I suspect we'll see more Yannick Ferreira Carrasco stories over the summer months.

Re: The Official Summer Transfer Rumours Thread
I think we will have higher priorities in the summer than signing a new GK. Not that I wouldn't like signing an Oblak, but Cech and Szczesny are fine imo. Apparently Szczesny has improved a lot in his loan spell so he'll be like a new signing (:
That is if he even wants to return, if he doesn't-- then I'd rather sign a homegrown GK so we can let Gibbs and Wilshere or Ramsey go without messing up with the homegrown quota.
Alexis... that's a hard one. We're more than likely to downgrade in this position. I wouldn't be opposed to Lacazette or Lukaku. Cheeky bid for Kun Aguero wouldn't be the worst idea if City go for Aubameyang. If not then giving it a try for Aubameyang wouldn't hurt considering it is unlikely someone else will be in for him. Expect a huge transfer fee though, Dortmund won't sell so easily.

in terms of like for like replacement Insigne would my choice+ then a cf like Morata or lukaku

Re: The Official Summer Transfer Rumours Thread
We've seen Insigne rumors. Mertens has also had an amazing season as a CF for Napoli, not that we've been linked.
Also wouldn't mind going for Lukaku or Lacazette. But then we have Welbeck, Giroud, Perez and a new CF. I'm kind of assuming Perez is leaving unless something drastic changes with his playing time.
Dybala or Griezmann are unattainable dream targets.

He isn't that good tbh. Tired of lightweight midfielders who get shrugged off by 20mph wind.
What we need is a midfielder who voted for brexit and can take a pint or two before the match.
