It doesn't really matter because Wenger never signs players from the Portuguese league.

Gettin' in on that Eduardo Salvio action?
Or Zivkovic. I would be a fan of Arsenal acquiring a Serbian or two this summer. Also a young Italian talent or two.

Since left back is a priority, it's probably Alex Grimaldo.

I like Gueye. Probably Everton's best player this season. But not sure if he is good enough for us. Although we thought the same with Kante and he is having an unreal season at Chelsea.

I remember when Gueye was still at Lille his name came up as a possible Arsenal target for that magic DM role.

Re: The Official Summer Transfer Rumours Thread
Lately I've been feeling the Belotti hype train but Lukaku would be a terrific signing obviously. A couple years ago I was skeptical about Lukaku's price tag because I wasn't sure that he'd keep delivering goals (even though he was obviously good) ... I underestimated. I wish Arsenal could drop a "reasonable" 40m on him now.

Re: The Official Summer Transfer Rumours Thread
If we factor in all the sales this summer, transfer fee shouldn't be a problem:
Alexis, Ozil, Lucas, Campbell, Chamberlain, Gibbs, Gabriel, Debuchy, Wilshere - all could leave the club this summer.
Of course, we'll have to ensure Everton to Arsenal is actually a step-up and not a sideways move this summer

So basically we need a new team?
Also, think Ospina should be on that list too fwiw. Maybe Jenkinson too, if that counts?

Gilles Grimandi was reportedly at Monaco - Man City last night, and has been watching Monaco all season.
Guys, it's going to happen. We're going to "nearly sign" Kylian Mmmbop. Such good banter for when he scores four past us in a year or two.

Re: The Official Summer Transfer Rumours Thread
There are some junk rumors going around that Wenger has greenlighted the acquisition of Florian Lejeune, the 25-year-old center-back who signed for Man City in 2015, played no games for them, loaned back to old club, now at Eibar (for peanuts) where he plays now permanently on a contract til 2020.
This story feels "Arsenal transfer rumor circa 2011," frankly.

18 Man City players could be axed this summer
7 out of contract: Sagna, Clichy, Toure, Navas, Zabaleta, Caballero, Adarabioyo
5 on loan: Hart, Nasri, Denayer, Mangala, Bony
6 with question marks: Aguero, Iheanacho, Fernando, Kompany, Kolarov, Delph
Besides Aguero, do any of these names interest anyone, just out of curiosity?

Typical English press article after a big PL loss. If you think how many times Fellaini, Valencia, Young were supposed to be 'axed' already lmao

Arsenal, Juventus & Manchester United watched Tiemoué Bakayoko on Wednesday
Arsenal, Manchester United and Juventus had representatives at the Stade Louis II on Wednesday night for the primary objective of looking at AS Monaco central midfielder Tiemoué Bakayoko, according to Foot 365 and supported by sources contacted by Get French Football News.
The former Rennes man had an excellent match and got the decisive goal to take Monaco through to the last eight.
AS Monaco value the player at €60m and any suitors will have to match that price in order to sign the Frenchman.
