No one will ever come close to Alan Rickman is scene chewery. It's god damn amazing, guy uses 10 minutes for a single line

And he makes it sound GOAT

Exactly. Can't imagine another actor doing that without sounding too hammy. Incredible he was.

My final rankings I think.

I have Azkaban and Half-Blood flipped in mine, but other than that, it's basically the same.

I think mine was Half Blood Prince and Part 1 as my best two but i'll have to start again to confirm lol.

Most emotional scenes

1. Snape's memories
2. Dobby's speech before dying
3. Sirius' death

Such a great series ffs. The last film really was an emotionally culmination of my entire childhood, and it still holds up.

The most well-made and beautiful film is no doubt Azkaban still, not even close.

Wish there was more Dobby though.

Would have been even better if Hermione ended up with Harry and not Ron.

Ron and Hermione never made sense to me. Ginny was such a nothing a character in the films also. Such a bad actress.

Plus Ron and Hermione had way better chemistry given how different they are.

I bought the relationships so much more in the books, because exposition and inner thoughts are easier to convey than emotions through action. I never bought Ron and Hermione's chemistry in the movies. Neither did I with Harry and Ginny, aside from being a horrible actress, she didn't get enough time to shine at all.

Nah I am with Freeza. I didn't like Ron and Hermione at all. Hermione was the only person who understood Harry and always supported him. She was practically made for him but I think JK had the similar thought as Mclewis that it was too predictable. But for me hermione and Harry always clicked.

That dance scene in Deathly hallows part 2 was as close as we would ever get


Hated Ginny the most. Harry is one of the most unfortunate MC to end up with a girl like that. It was just stupid. JK never put work in Ginny's character.

He should have ended up with Luna instead. They were good together and she had an interesting character.

Luna was such a great character in the books, always thought she should've been the one with 'Arry

Ginny was just such a nothing character. I have no idea why she wasn't fleshed out more. It's like JK decided on the fly that Harry and Hermione was too predictable and just added this relationship.

No idea why she even did that.

It was mostly like a school relationship lol, both were too scared to actually commit even though it was obvious they both liked each other from the awkward AF scenes.

She literally has no personality traits in the films.

She fell in love with Harry without any scenes of them actually talking or being in the same room. It's awful really.

She sees him when he first takes the train to Hogwarts. Then in the second movie she's in love. Then they don't talk until movie 6 or something and they're suddenly together.

Can't even.

It's awful.
