21m euros for a talented young player like Coman these days seems kind of like a steal tbh. Hell, Ryan Mason went for ~15m euros...and that's Ryan Mason...to Hull City.

They even asked Bonucci if he would follow Conte to Chelsea last summer and he thought it was ridiculous, his response was "the most I'd ever follow Conte is to take a coffee".

The answer was "no" from Bonucci though because he didn't want to move his son due to his health issues...  if that changes, it'll be the same issue as with Pogba = Juve either need to match whatever wage City is offering Bonucci or it just becomes a matter of negotiating the transfer fee.

It's up to Bonucci mostly.

Bravo. I'd like to have the kind of confidence that lets me make up whatever, and act like its an absolute truth about something so far removed from me.

Not only that, but casually slipping in that "City is offering" anything, something no one has mentioned since they were rejected by Juve. Instead of Chelsea, who are the team in question, and Bonucci has, once again, already rejected the notion of following Conte there.

No one ever said anything about any health concerns impacting any possible move.

His son was indeed sick, and just recovered. Its the reason why he missed the games with the NT and Juve a couple of weeks ago. That all happened at the end of the summer, after the Euros and after all the moves were rejected and the comments were made.

Can't really compare Pogba with Bonucci. Bonucci is Italian, first of all and that alone is an important factor to consider when judging the likeliness of him leaving Italy to play abroad. While it is a bit more common now, it's more likely that Italian players stay in Italy.

Not saying that there aren't MUCH better chances of Bonucci staying because of the reasons you enumerated Luca...  but clubs no longer run football transfers in terms of the elite...  the players do.  That's why you have super agents now when you never did before...  it's a consequence of players gaining the upper hand.

Moves like this certainly don't happen in January either. It would be quite shocking from a Juventus standpoint

Yeah I HIGHLY HIGHLY (did i mention HIGHLY) doubt Juve or any top team moves a core player during the winter mercato unless something very unusual happens.

60 mil seems like a crazy amount for a 30 year old CB though. If I'm Juve, I'd really consider it. You already have Benatia, Barzagli and Chiellini. With 60 mil, you could turn that around for a player like... Isco?

Something that would make obvious sense might happen.
