Yeah I HIGHLY HIGHLY (did i mention HIGHLY) doubt Juve or any top team moves a core player during the winter mercato unless something very unusual happens.

60 mil seems like a crazy amount for a 30 year old CB though. If I'm Juve, I'd really consider it. You already have Benatia, Barzagli and Chiellini. With 60 mil, you could turn that around for a player like... Isco?

Something that would make obvious sense might happen.

Its a fair opinion but I, like Tom and probably every Juve fan here, am completely against. We can't replace Bonucci with any player at our club or outside. He is far more than a CB for us. He is our first playmaker, the Pirlo in defense. Specially when Marchisio is missing Bonucci takes up the role of regista.

He is 29 and at this point he is the most consistently great CB we have, Chiellini and Barzagli have more ups and dows than him. Benatia has been great in this start but is very injury prone (and currently injured) and Rugani looks great but is young. We need them all. Barzagli has 6 years on him, if Bonucci can give us 7 more seasons at this level then it makes no sense selling him.

On top of that he is a leader of Juve. Has been here for 6 seasons and represents the club in every aspect on and off the field.

A player like Isco is useless for us as we are not playing with an AM anytime soon. And he wouldn't make us change formation. Juve doesn't need the money from selling a starter to sign a player like that. Bonucci isn't going anywhere.

If David Luiz is worth 40M then Juve should ask for 80 (at the very least) for the services of Bonucci.

IF he was to leave Juve, I could see him going to City more so then Chelsea.

Why would Bonucci go to Chelsea in January to NOT play in the Champions League or go to ManCity to sit on the bench while his team plays in the Champions League??

Especially considering that we gave some other players many more (undeserved) chances.

Seems like some Bundesliga clubs were big time after him in the summer, and now Arsenal... the way he was linked with many clubs you would think the guy is a top prospect

From what i saw of him over the last months, he can become a reliable midfielder, somewhere near Coquelin's level, but certainly not world class.

We are not after him. I am sure ES is joking with that.

His natural ability is astounding (like reflexes and reactions) his main weaknesses is positioning and distribution with the ball, these things can easily be improved but his reflexive ability is nothing short of amazing, especially for such a young guy

Isco deserves to go into a club that will potentially draw more out of him and play him on a more consistent basis. Same with james, it's unfair that they are asked to play roles that are not natural to their games and get blasted for it consistently.

I agree, him and James are wasting their prime years playing out of position. It's unfair to them.

As for the rumor of him leaving in January, Isco said himself a couple days ago that he won't be leaving in January, and that he'll only leave if he doesn't get enough playing time:
