I am surprised to see his level of professionalism. He is determined not to renew, made it clear too yet has shown his full commitment as long as he is in the team.

I wouldn't be so worried about him playing for you straight away as I would be if he had a change of heart and decided to extend with PSG. Imagine if he really enjoys playing with Messi and Neymar and wins the CL. Surely he would rethink his stance on renewal with PSG in the summer.

Gotta pin him down with a contract while he still has his heart in Madrid IMHO. And January is the best time to do it.

No, as with Alaba they can sign him in January effective for July!

They've changed that CL law some years ago

If he has a "change of heart" and renews he'll become irrelevant like Neymar. His best chance of getting the recognition is if he moves to Barca/RM or PL

I dont understand how Flo complains about being broke and still has the balls to make a bid of 180M or whatever it is? Thats like just saying im bankrupt and then goes to to lunch at 4 Seasons lol... anyway I guess thats just how the rich play it, they say whatever they want and do whatever they can do, nobody can do anything it since they are all in the same circle of corruption.

Im starting to think if PSG do win the CL and the league steadily improves, Mbappe wont even have to move abroad to so call prove himself. Serie A and La Liga has declined, its only the EPL thats much better anyway now.

When are you younger generation going to read financials. RMadrid has never been “broke”. Their operating budget has been depressed due to covid and lack of fans in stadium, but in terms of salaries (salary load), they actually are in a better position than any big club including PSG. The shortage was in transfer (or investment funds). But they have raised 200M with sales, primarily with Varane and Odegaard.

Nothing corrupt at all. It’s all in publicly available financials.

You severely underestimated La liga. Sure the liga has declined some, but the top teams all have good players and I wouldn’t be so quick (as you) to say they can’t compete. The team on paper is much different than actual performances. Just look at the team on paper PSG has had for past several years vs what the actual results have turned out to be. Signing past stars in their mid 30s is no guarantee on success.

Haaland technically isn't free. He has a 75 mil exit clause that triggers next year or something around that amount. But given his market value, it's inconsequential UNLESS he wants some crazy bonus + Raiola's fee turns out to be out of this world, to go along with the 75 mil.

Mbappe is the one that is free and clear, although he's going to ask for a minimum 125 signing bonus per rumors (his father is his agent btw).

The plan (all along) if PSG didn’t agree (and has been agreed with Mbappe) is to sign him Jan 1st aka Alaba (he is free to negotiate his next contract, 6 mths before current deal expiration). If he insist on signing bonus (i think Alaba got one) that is not a problem, i.e the money or some of it that would have gone to PSG.

That way by having Mbappe already secured, They will be able to concentrate on the pursuit of Haaland. Not that Haaland will be any easier, but it seems certain they will attempt. They did have a successful initial meeting with Haaland and his agent (yes the one that people say Flo won’t deal with).

And of course PSG will keep trying to persuade him to stay, but you have to think after umteen failed attempt it won’t work. Mbappe simply is not excited about playing 2nd fiddle to Messi and Neymar!

My guess is that they're going to offer him a pot of gold that nobody else can. Remains to be seen if it's just too much to refuse.
