Uefa, meanwhile, said: "All Uefa doping control cases are conducted in full compliance with the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) Code. "Uefa has informed both Wada and Fifa of all such cases as required by the Wada Code and Uefa has provided all detailed information, expert reports and evidence during the handling of such cases." Uefa said it "must be underlined" that both Wada and Fifa have the right to appeal any decision taken by Uefa on doping control matters to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS). However, neither Wada nor FIFA lodged any such appeal to CAS. Wada itself has "officially confirmed that everything was dealt with appropriately by Uefa and in accordance with the Code", a spokesman for the governing body added.

Considering Ronaldo’s been in prison since September off of allegations alone (according to several numptiez here), we have to apply that precedent and confirm Ramos’ guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.

By the honour of RG and the Queen, the crown (myself, @rincon @s and @firenze) hereby request that @nick @freeza and Ramos himself are jointly sentenced to spend no less than 90 days in the company of @unique while he orally recites his racist manifesto titled “White is right” daily.

Pretty sure when a newspaper like Der Spiegel starts attacking every club out there they are going to lose big time. They just lost all their credibility when they called Ramos a doper for a administrative error (their headline getting more attention than their article)

Just means CR was innocent all along. Big wrong move from Der Spiegel

I'd be the first person to want Ramos to get a lifetime ban.

He's also obviously the only professional footballer who's taken banned substances.

Football leaks is not the same as the Spiegel.

Football Leaks started as a whistleblower website out of Portugal who mostly seemed to leak documents from Jorge Mendes orbit and who were concerned with things like 3rd party ownership and corrupt backroom deals in Portuguese football.

They got famous by leaking all those Real Madrid-Mendes-connected contracts which I guess was a PR byproduct of their focus and happenstance.

Then I guess they gained traction and got more leaked documents regarding wider football areas, and German weekly Der Spiegel, which is one of Germany's main press outlets, made a collaboration (like papers did with Wikileaks etc) with them to produce news based on the leaked documents.
All in all, I would say you can be sure all of the leaked documents reported upon are legit and true.

In the case of the latest Ramos doping story, while the leaked facts are surely legit, the fine print is slightly less scandalous and 'huge' news than the headline of the story, and most of all the tweeting that ensues refering to the story, might suggest.

Godin isn't having a very good season, to be fair. He was solid yesterday, but clearly age is taking it's toll on him. He's been slow and sluggish whenever I've watched Atletico play in the league this season.

He's as good as he has always been, which is an consistent, hot-headed defender who in his day can be as elite as they come and as a leader he's second to none.

Would definitely hold on to him.

The attack is the area where we need to work on improving in the summer.
