Re: The Movie House - Part 10
This one is a good Romanian movie:
De ce eu?
There's something related in the movie to my hometown, Oradea, because everything is inspired from true & tragic events that happened about 15 years ago.
Will be watching Identity tonight.
I saw Guradians of the Galaxy vol 2 a few days ago and I liked it a lot. They have a specific humor that I really love. It is a unique sci-fi comedy which could bring joy in a room with a tensioned atmosphere just in seconds. Of course, elements of adventure and some action, but nothing very serious, for me it stays a comedy.

Identity was very good, but unfortunately a little bit too predictable. That's why for me it's nothing wow. Anyway, for the first time in my life I actually liked a John Cusack performance.

In a way, yes. I mean, it was obvious that the others weren't the killers and there was clearly something wrong with "Ed". He was the odd man out, acting with calm and dictating the rhythm all the time. But if you ask me specifically about the final scene, I didn't see it coming.

Well, I didn't see much movies with him tbh and I didn't see Bullets Over Broadway even though it's been on my watchlist for some time.
I think I'm gonna watch Transsiberian tonight. Plot sounds great and Woody Harrelson is one of my all time favorites.

I just love Romcoms
Hard not to love Cusack if you enjoy that genre

Re: The Movie House - Part 10
I enjoy the genre, but I rarely choose to watch this kind of movies. Because I usually am in a different type of mood and I keep the romcoms for me & my gf time.
But if someone ever asks me, I'll never think of a romcom as one of my all time favorite movies. I just enjoy them, but I am rarely very impressed by one. I am more with the drama romance.

Re: The Movie House - Part 10
Lol. Can't believe somebody wasted time to make this video. (ok, wasted time but probably earned some money )
By the way, just finished watching Transsiberian. I liked it a lot, even more than Identity, as a preference I'd go for this kind of setting. Loved it, the whole train trip, meeting suspicious strangers, foreign country (Russia ftw) etc.

Re: The Movie House - Part 10
Gotta love how there has been talk about crisis about summer box office and blaming everything other than the movies' quality.
IT came out and was the first great film for more than a month.
It broke the September opening weekend record by earning 117m$. Previous record was 49m$

Re: The Movie House - Part 10
Hmm. Now I am little bit more attracted to the idea of Horror, especially when it comes to highly rated ones. That's because I watched The Conjuring and it was pretty fine. Not wow, but it raised my appetite.
I'm curious about IT. Would like to watch it in cinema.
I've seen Life in cinema earlier this year and it was great.

Re: The Movie House - Part 10
It was the best film I watched this year.
Without any spoilers, it was just a lot of fun. It seems like they built on the platform of Stranger Things. They focused on the kids, the group of "losers", the time of the late 80s in a small town, the kid's dialogue. It was just a very fun experience from start to finish.

Finally got around to Logan. Hope Jackman sticks to his word and doesn't play the character again. Great way to go out. Gonna watch Baby Driver next.

12 Angry Men -- credit to GL for this one. It was great and you guys are the reason I watched. A classic.
Dunkirk -- I thought it was quite good. It wasn't Nolan's best, and it wasn't incredible, but it's a solid movie all around. Butt clenching intensity the whole movie. I enjoyed it anyway.

Re: The Movie House - Part 10
No film with Jennifer lawrence (apart from DOTFP) is good.
She had the same expressions in this film as she did in X-Men DOTFP and the hunger games lmao. One dimensional actress.
