Only thing I knew about him before now was that he was a singer, and that's it.

He was pretty global as far as I know. Queen has made some of the most famous songs of all time. Bohemian Rhapsody, We Wil Rock You, We Are The Champions and Another One Bites the Dust.

Maybe rock music isn't big where you're from.

I always thought they were kind of in the
Elvis, Michael Jackson, Beetles, Rolling Stones tier of fame.

And who could forget "Don't Stop me Now"? Have a large affection for that song due to this classic 2006 footy video on Dennis Bergkamp I would watch and rewatch many times.

Really liked It. It was great. Best horror film in years.

Great jump scares, but the kids and the story were the stars. The guy who plays Eddie was absolutely incredible. Close to being my favourite Stephen King film ever.

Not a twist movie.

Can't wait for part 2 and see who'll play the kids as adults

Oh, nice. It's the 2nd time after "Split" when IMDb gets it wrong.

I saw "Split" after discussing with Freeza and Myesyats and it was very good. Clearly not a horror, IMDb put the wrong label on it.

Thanks guys! <3

A film can be more than one genre. Split has horror elements, mainly psychological horror. Nothing was mislabeled.

Frankenstein is a horror despite not being a scary story at all really.

Scary Movie is horror.

Zombieland is horror.

Lol Freeza, I know that a film can be of more genres. But thanks, anyway. Do you think I am that stupid? C'mon man.  Sad

I never felt feelings of horror during Split. Maybe we just have a different perspective.

horror = an intense feeling of fear, shock, or disgust.
a literary or film genre concerned with arousing feelings of horror.
"a horror film"

Anyway, I think you are right. They wouldn't label them as horror if the movies wouldn't contain elements of horror.

Well. IMDb is an editorial site, so it's possible to add all things on there.

Thriller and horror are just so close. I just think most people have gotten used to thinking of horror films as meaning jump scare films.

Split is very horror at points. Especially when girls start dying and it turns supernatural. The whole pedophilia angle is also very IT-like and psychological horror.

Why is it that you don't like Horror though? Often I think a lot of the films are trash because they're so poorly made, but a lot of the well-made ones are amazing. Mainly thinking Conjuring, Babadook and The Thing. Probably my three favourites.

Feels like 2017 is the worst movie year in a long time. What GOAT movies came out? Get Out, Dunkirk, Baby Driver... anything else?

I don't know, but for some years now I tried to avoid as much as possible watching horror movies. I think I had the bad luck to watch a lot of very poor horror movies when I was a kid and now it is just a prejudice. Not much reason behind it.

I've always heard a lot of people saying there are a lot of good horror movies. I didn't like the Paranormal Activity series while most of my friends were like "wow, it scared the shit out of me!" and other nice words.

I want to download now "The Conjuring" and watch it. Seems to be interesting and I wanna give a try for a horror movie.

Just saw "The Conjuring". Nice movie. For me, the most exciting part of the movie was the first half, the 2nd half wasn't very exciting anymore, but it was ok.

+ don't know why but Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga seem to be a very good choice for this kind of movies.

Patrick Wilson is just a GOAT in general. Such a shame he hasn't done a huge musical yet.

No problem man, I'm glad you enjoyed it. I was actually blown away by the leading actor's performance so much that I might watch it again soon.

Vera Farmiga is fantastic no matter what. In "Bates Motel" she's absolutely incredible. If you haven't seen the show, go watch it now. It's not the best show out there, but it's great and the acting is impeccable.

It's always hard for me to say any country has better movies than others though. Usually I only hear about and see the classics and masterpieces from other countries. Meanwhile American films we hear everything.

I always hear about from people who has never lived in Denmark how Scandinavian movies are so gritty and authentic and great. But good god there's so much shit being out out. Like worse than Catwoman and Suicide Squad mashup bad.

You always see another country's movies with rose tinted goggles.

That being said. The Japanese horror film The Audition is great.

Babadook - Australian
Dabbe - Turkish
Let The Right One In - Swedish
Under The Shadow - British/Persian
