No film with Jennifer lawrence (apart from DOTFP) is good.

She had the same expressions in this film as she did in X-Men DOTFP and the hunger games lmao. One dimensional actress.

It's not getting shat on by reviewers though. And audiences are pretty dumb to go into an Aronofsky film expecting a normal horror flick.

That said I have no interest in his movies at all. Only really loved The Wrestler. By far his best.

Over two thirds think it's a good movie. That's good. Reviewers are mostly positive because they know stuff about movies.

I don't expect the average person to know the films of Aronofsky. They probably just asked to see a horror movie at the counter and chose this one without knowing anything about the director's style.

Requiem for a Dream is legit one of the saddest, most depressing movies I've ever watched.

Still one of the best though.

Oh and didn't Aronofsky do The Fountain as well? Love that flick.

Yes, it's a quite a confusing jumble of pretentiousness. Yet I still enjoyed it. A different take on poignant fantasy, that's for sure. I like What Dreams May Come for a very similar reason.

I agree with the "Winter's Bone" part.

They are, definitely, I just don't understand it. I wasn't berating people for thinking it, I was asking why.

She's got a good body, I can admit that, I just don't personally have any real attraction to the face. Regardless of how people perceive her, which is all up to them, her beauty is definitely overrated. People put her up there as one of the more beautiful actresses often, and she's simply not in that league

I prefer her twin, Haley Bennett myself.

Another one that's hugely overrated in terms of looks is Emma Stone. Think she's a much better actress than Jennifer Lawrence though.

Legit have friends who think Emma Stone is hotter than Margot Robbie.

Also that whole Alicia Vikander discussion we had a year ago where Arq said she looked like a man or something.
