Unreal move by Paul George and his camp basically telling other teams and the Pacers simultaneously that he's going to the Lakers, one year before he's eligible to sign as an FA and thus making teams weary of trading for him.

However, if I were the Cavs, I would still go nuts to trade for him. Their team will not beat the Warriors in the finals next season. As long as you're not trading like Love plus 3 first round picks, why not do a Love + package deal for Paul George (probably would have to b a multi team deal), the Cavs would effectively clear out Love's contract, and try for a year with Paul George, if he does end up leaving in free agency, you get the cap space back for next season.

Boston up to something with that trade, that's for sure.

Philadelphia is going to have quite the team if they're ever all healthy.

I can't wait for free agency.

Paul George had probably been told to do it so Lakers can trade for him without losing any of their 3 young talents.

This way Lakers can trade for him now and get his bird rights and go over the cap.

I also wouldn't want Love as the Pacers. They need picks only. And young talent so they can develop and tank at the same time.
