I knew we would eventually sign Matic when I first heard he would probably be leaving Chelsea this summer. Can't say I'm surprised at all then. That said, not impressed. I'd rather play Fellaini. Maybe not but there isn't much between them. Actually that's harsh to Matic, but w/e. Hope he's motivated to play for us and not phoning in performances like he often does for Chelsea.

I am all for that, and it makes sense. Monaco are far too greedy- okay what is the next best option for us? Dembele of course.

Also I just forgot we still haven't purchased a backup RB. When is that going to happen? Achraf or whoever is pretty bad.

lol, last season was incredibly taxing on my body and mind tbh, rollercoaster. Need a break during the summer. I'm actually not even staying up to date with a lot of stuff - didn't even know Matic was happening until it was done etc.

He's a very talented goalscorer, but that's really all he is. Can't play on the wings, and loses the ball under any pressure. He's a poacher.

City have inserted a 50M buy back clause though.
