Absolutely phenomenonal IMO, the film is absolutely dripping with atmosphere and I love the story it's telling.
- Spoiler:
Love how Jesse James started getting paranoid as the film progresses and Casey Affleck who plays Robert Ford is fantastic
Definitely one of my favourite modern Westerns, what's more I'm noticing so many influences from this Film which Red Dead Redemption 2 is taking in it's latest trailer.
Anybody who plans to play that game should watch this film if you haven't already.
there can be an argument made that it is lowkey the best film of 2007
Will respond when I’ve watched to tell you that you’re absolutely wrong.

Then there's also No Country for Old Men.
But I think it is the lesser of the three.

Of the last 5 years ?
Crime/thriller is my genre
Apart from the above lists, I'll add :
Molly's Game
The Post
Rush
The Gift
Spotlight
The Imitation Game
You need to check out Icarus too. It's a documentary movie and I was totally blown away by it.
Do you like documentaries Mole ?
I watched 'I believe in Miracles' recently , based on Brian Clough's Nottingham Forest
There's one on Andre the Giant too.

When I read that title I thought it was going to be an account on people experiencing magical life-changing events also watched another Brian Clough documentary/biopic movie before with a different title, and I think it focused more on his time at Leeds
Does anyone know about a documentary on amazing, miraculous, difficult to explain life-changing occurrences though? would love to watch stuff like that even if it is just youtube videos.

Wow... so many posters with the critics kind of taste here A lot of them Oscars movies are too high level for me, but I am liking more and more of them as I age and watch more movies, still, I still like the good old sci-fi as favourite, and entertainment.
Recently saw Avengers Infinity Wars and thought it was amazing Never been a big fan of these Marvel especially Avengers movies but this one had everything
Annihilation was also great.

The movie thread is for those kinds of movies.
We’ve got a comic book and Star Wars thread that’s very active to talk about those movies.

Re: The Movie House - Part 10
I haven't watched a superhero movie since suicide squad and before that probably that first Andrew Garfield Spiderman. I knew suicide squad would be shit just watched it for lulz
There are a select decent few that come around but overall I can't stand the genre.
Not that Star Wars is altogether that different but that universe is a lot more fun and exciting to me.
