Well what you can you do eh? offensive side of france is their weakest.

Could someone tell me how many they scored in all qualification games? How could a team play this boring?

Most overrated National Team in the World at the moment after Brazil and Argentina.

Fluked their way to the Euros after Scotland got screwed against Italy.

Finished bottom of their group in that tournament.

Cheated their way into the World Cup via Henry's infamous handball.

Now they're struggling to qualify from a group that contains world beaters like Bosnia, Belarus, Albania, Luxembourg and Romania.

As soon as France nt became bad Arsenal got worse year after year. Did you notice the correlation?

Erm that wasnt even France's 2nd team out there

He is afraid to play offensive football with Benzema, Ribery, Nasri and and and....... Not like France is short on defenders to cover up. France need a manager with balls to attack. Qualification is like league game, better lose once and win one than draw two times.

We were missing Mexes, Ribery, Sagna and Benzema. That's 4 very, very good players. Not to mention Diaby and Gourcuff have fallen off the earth in 2011. A ton other injuries too. Too much turnover on the team. Every time we play, it's a new starting 11. They don't know how to play with each other.

Getting healthy is the key so that we can play 3-4 friendlies with our best starting 11.

Who cares they will not get out of their group at the euros lol karma is a bitch!!

Yeah... just like the disallowed goal yesterday for offsides that was clearly onsides on the replay. It's fashionable to hate on France.

Nobody cares about Le Graet. It's like Tebas talking... he just talks to say very little. The manager is all that matters and Deschamps is good.

I read that more as an endorcement of Deschamps than him taking a shot at Zidane, but that's just me. I think he kinda needs to emphasize it cos for whatever reason there seems to be an underlying rise of people wanting Deschamps to step aside for zizou right now.

That's jus what I think. I see zizou as too much of an instituiton over there (especially in retirement)  for someone to take jabs.

He was annoyed by the Zidane questions when it should be about the Deschamps extension... but he handled it poorly.  It's like talking about Pele in Brazil; you need to tiptoe around any issues you may have.

As head of a federation, handling comms is half of your job frankly. He's been awful at it for a while now.

Le Graet is a douche generally as well, hence the backlash.  He's under investigation for sexual harassment (which is actually hard in France), etc.

i kinda had the feeling this was what it was. i'm an outsider looking in and even i felt like there was some sort of zidane crusade not just in France but even the Madrid media.

Especially since Zidane himself hasn't even said a word and he isn't the type to play any political games against Deschamps. The way some media folks have gone about this, you would think Deschamps' team just got knocked out of the second round in the world cup.

Agreed.  I mean... I HATE that we play such negative tactics with the talent we have.  But you can't argue the results that he gets. The job he did at this world cup was nothing short of amazing.

Due to injuries, half our team was new and our starting 11 had never played together before prior to the world cup.  Our back 4 had literally never played together.  Rabiot and Tchouemani were never paired in the midfield.  Only holdover was the front 3 of Giroud, Griezmann and Mbappe.  Even there, Griezmann was playing CM since we had no more CMs and Dembele was a (useless) forward.

Also, we had no bench.  Zilch.  

YET. we made it to the final and literally could (and some say should if we took our chances in OT) have won it.  

You can't deny the man.  DD is a top manager.  It's not like Zidane is this super positive manager either with the way his teams play.
