As long as you have Messi, you could throw in 10 monkeys with him and you'd still have a chance to win.

He's a dirty POS
Worth a mention is the fact he only got a yellow for this lol... the ref is standing right there and it should have been a red

I don't believe Ramos is as dirty in general, as some people make him out to be. Then again, I don't think there's a limit to his potential cynicality in El Clasicos

Absolutely disgusting and he should've been sent off for it. No question.
However, I still maintain, he's nothing compared to the ones I mentioned in the previous page.

Is there a player that elbows people more constantly than Ramos? Not to mention just kicking players randomly.

Nothing says dirty player more than trying to foul Messi, failing, running after him and kicking him straight in the shin. Then pushing other players for complaining. That's just the first one from the first video that showed up.

Surely Sevilla would go for Garcia. Montella is, well, kinda rubbish.

Players apparently want Garcia but board wants Montella. Tuchel was interviewed as well but didn't make the final cut

Well if the final 2 candidates are Montella and Garcia. It says more about Sevilla lol.
But Tuchel is a fraud anyways. No one even wants him anymore.

It's Javi Gracia. Former Malaga coach.
Montella must have given a hell of a presentation to get the job over Tuchel. Then again, the board apparently interviewed Walter Mazaarri as well, so I'm not entirely sure what they're after.

My pick for the manager spot would be Marcelino of Valencia. God knows why he got sacked after leading Villareal to 4th place two seasons ago, not to mention his rather exceptional work in getting the club promoted and achieving relatively positive results for the club since then. Valencia are currently in 3rd place as well, and they were performing like crap before he arrived. He must have a shitty personality, because people don't seem to appreciate what he's achieved as a manager

Re: La Liga Discussion 2017/18 part 3
Agreed. Imho Valverde hasn't really been tested yet. His major test lies in CL where I believe his mediocre team will get battered.
Re: La Liga Discussion 2017/18 part 3
He beat Juventus 3-0 at Camp Nou and roflstomped Madrid with the same score at the Bernabeu. If I'm not mistaken, he is, along with Guardiola, the only two managers in Europe who still haven't tasted defeat yet.
And while I do believe that beating this Madrid side in its current sorry state isn't exactly something to be very ecstatic about, I still think Valvèrde has done enough to be taken seriously.

Re: La Liga Discussion 2017/18 part 3
Valverde took a team depleted in talent, that lost Neymar and put 14 points on Madrid + 3-0 humiliation of Zidane in he Bernabeu. I think he is having an impressive season.
I would not argue against Marcelino, he has brought Valencia back from the realm of dead. It's an equally amazing feat achieved with unexpected players like Zaza, or Guedes.

Beating Madrid and Juventus are not exactly great feats these days. Let's save our judgements when his team meets PSG/City/Bayern.

Overly ridiculous expectations to place on anyone tbh, but considering this a forum which has called Guardiola a fraud for reaching the CL semis this doesn't surprise me.
Also if he did beat those teams he'd deserve massive praise.

even if he lost neymar he has messi. when the neymar rumors first started it made no difference to me, messi's always been the game plan

Celta the quitters playing mostly a B team because LaLiga is supposedly more important for them. Yet they never get far in Europe anyhow.
