Koscielny is an absolute fraud and has been for years who got by on scoring goals and RG being starved of decent defending.

I know you had a 90m bid or something agreed but I don't think that was a serious bid. I mean, it was reported you only offered that much 30mins or something before the window closed when Lemar was playing a national game???

Also that 90m bid was only after offered after you accepted a 60m bid for Sanchez, now that he will be leaving on a free do you think you can afford him as well as other targets for key positions?

Apart from Lemar we have been heavily linked with both Fekir and Mahrez.

Sanchez and Ozil leaving for free definitely hurts our chances of making big money signings considering the stinginess of the club even though it shouldn’t. We prepared for this last summer when we made a PROFIT.

As for Lemar I think he is definitely a serious target, Wenger said we will try again. It was a serious bid, the Monaco president confirmed it. Monaco just didn’t accept it after already selling Mbappe, Bernardo Silva, Mendy etc...

Pretty much every outlet was claiming Lemar rejected you like twice and wanted Loserpool. Scenes if he joins you now.

Fekir should be your main target this summer. I hope we sign him but there's a 0.5% chance of that happening. He will be a top 3 player if he comes to the prem IMO. Will be the Salah of next season.

French Vermealen, Aggressive CB who makes last ditch tackles and constantly out of position when he makes those last ditch tackles, Mertesacker carried him which coincided nicely with Mertesacker aging btw.

These are things i have been saying for years, he's overrated as shit always has been.

Vermaelen was actually good if he didn't get injured as much. Koscielny is a great CB, not WC but a very good one

That's a myth and quite frankly history revisionism tbh, nobody cares now but at the time Vermealen made a lot of defensive mistakes and Arsenal were worse defensively than they are now.

Their defensive mistakes only started to get ironed out when they signed Mertesacker but before that him scoring the odd goal hide the fact he was a terrible defender.

I will be slightly fair to him though, it can't have helped Alex Song thinking he was an AM playing DM lmao.

Without him they used to concede like 5 goals in 10 minutes against us in a CL knockout game.
That alone tells you the Herculean performances the guy kept delivering week in week out,
He has a comparably poor season but that happens to everyone.

Even the top 2 CBs in the world, Boateng and Hummels, have had weaker phases in recent times

Benatia couldn't even get past a crocked Badstuber or a repurposed Alaba, never mind MArtinez or Boateng.
That he's a standout performer in your team of Sturaris, Khediras and Quadrados is nothing to be proud of
