it's part of the things he wants Madrid to cover in his new contract. From what I heard he wants close to 40 millions net and in signing bonus he wants us to cover the fees for his fraudulent asd.

Pretty sure the official number was 90m pounds. Just because Pogba hasn't lived up to the pricetag (he never could) doesn't really mean we were extorted..he was the hottest player available at the time and every team wanted him.

Does Pep even play a DM? He just plays Fernandinho in the centre. That's Jorginho's position. Regista for Napoli in front of the defense. Pep is the best fit for him for sure and the playing/coaching style is why Jorginho (through his agent) has been pushing for City.

I doubt Pep is trying to sign Jorginho but expecting Matic. He is the most "Pep's Barca" type of player outside of his old team.

I could see Pep going more defensive in Away CL knockout games. With a midfield 3 of Kdb-Fernandinho-Jorginho a lot of grit and workrate

But he'll get away with playing Jorginho as a DM in the PL. Since there will be like 16 teams in the league that will sit deep and allow us to have 70%+ possession.

is Gundogan finished at City? or will just remain a rotation player. Wonder if he would be happy with it, it's what he deserves so I'd imagine so.

True, nobody is tied to one particular position in a Pep team. Jorginho would fit at City like a dream.

I think the bigger issue is who’s the b2b Allan type meant to help clean up for Jorginho? I think it’s quite easy to fit in someone like Jorginho, as long as you can have a similar synergy in the midfield

He's a very Pep type of player that much is true but there's only one player with the ball skills he wants and not lack the discipline and positional sense required to protect a back 4.

That's Busquets, can't see Jorginho preventing the counter attacks which meant CL exit this year.

you could argue that vvd at 75mil and ox at 35mil is too much money but at least they are improving the team. you waste money on players that are now sitting on the bench or have been sold at a loss.

the only major flop we've had that's depreciated in value by a decent amount in the last 5 years is Luke Shaw. A player I always see you saying is still good. lol. We bought him for 30m and will get about 15 back for him.
