I mean Sassuolo are a slight step up from Chievo who gave you huge problems. Inter will be just fine as the season goes on IMO. Sass are just a bogey team for them.

That was only last year, about Napoli, who were genuine scudetto contenders. This season everyone more or less agree we will be champions by a large margin.

Inter may get the 2nd place, you guys are CL locks along with Roma imo.

Atalanta play today, already with 4 matches in their season because of EL qualifiers, and then play again on Thursday to start the last round before the group stage.

They are surely much more match fit and should beat Frosinone today, but then they go away to Roma between the matches against Copenhagen playing every 3 days.

Their squad isn't good enough anymore for the ambitions they have. Gasperini complained strongly about it, selling too many important players without replacing. They'll struggle with the schedule and intensity this season for sure.

Moreover how can't you give it through VAR ?

According to a former ref (Marelli. ah he said pen for Inter and not for Saassuolo) , very informed about refs, IFAB imposed restrinctions about use of VAR.It happened concomitanly with World Cup ... basically IFAB decided to limit as much as possible the interference of technology on the match.
In fact the VAR can only be used for "oversights", episodes totally not seen from refs.

On the other hand I noticed a lazy VAR in WC, at least if compared with past Serie A . I think to that pen kick not given to Brazil (Jesus-Kompany) for example...

I was a VAR fan last year, but I'm going to get off the wagon for a maimed VAR.
I can't do anything with it.
I liked it when it intervened also 5-6 times during a match as in 1st half of season , correcting so many errors.
The narrative about the breaks was overrated and basically useless, when it's a sport when there are players who faint since 70' if own team is winning

According to today’s Gazzetta dello Sport, the match attracted 2,330,234 unique viewers, with an audience share of 11.9 per cent.

That’s a 68 per cent increase in viewers on Juve’s first match of last season, when they faced Cagliari at home.

It’s also the fourth-highest total since the Italian branch of Sky launched, surpassed only by the Derby d’Italia in 2013 and 2016, and Roma-Juventus in August 2015.
