It pains me to say this but it looks to me as if so far Ronaldo at Juventus, when I see them, is behaving much better than could be hoped.
He looks engaged, motivated and interested in team work, he looks as if he likes playing together with his team mates, almost, almost unselfish, he seems happy.

That is mostly correct. In the recent string of CR7 success never did I expect a usually nonchalant and self centred persona in the form of him to be this way especially stepping down to Juventus but training videos, on pitch, off pitch I've never see him this happy. Not only he is adapting to his more selfless and pass based role but he seems to adore the fans to the coach to his favourite friends in Bernadeschi, Cuadrado, Sandro etc.

Refreshing change.

I can't believe people compared this guy to mario gomez on here. His 1V1 dribbling and crossing in particular is exceptional this season.

Cristiano has been involved in play as he ever has in his entire career. Never was he known to be creative in his passing but that has come to fruition with his more measured role and just speeds up play fantastically for a slow Juve frontline.

Exactly the archetype of how a player in his role should evolve.

He's not in the same spotlight, isn't competing with the like of Iker, Ramos, etc for the locker room...  and doesn't have the incessant pressure that exists at Real Madrid.

Juve is a great club.  But you don't have Barcelona or even Atleti now staring you down in league play AND with players that compete against you for BdO AND the media coverage etc.  He also wanted to be a Real Madrid great... so he had to catch up to guys like Di Stefano, Puskas and others.  

It's just a far less stressful situation all around.

The stress comes in elimination rounds of CL for CR at Juve... but that's not until February.

Also, at Real Madrid, he's always measured against his best years. So if he scores 30 goals in a seasons, he'd get criticized for it and the media would say he's slipping...

Never happened at Real though, even though there were at least 5 players at Real who are better free kick takers than Ronaldo.
