Week after that one too: Arsenal vs. Spurs
Week after that one as well: Man U vs. Arsenal
Then the week after that one: Chelsea vs. City
and finally the week after taht one: Liverpool vs. Man U

Spurs probably gonna lose all 3 of those matches.

weren't they hyped so much with a great defence, Kane, Ali, Lamela, Moura, their win against Utd. I dont understand why so much negativity around Spurs or is it just because Arsenal are now playing better hmm

They don't really look as impressive as last year.
They're solid and they seem to be grinding out wins, which isn't much different than what we've been doing this year I guess.
But I don't know, they just don't seem to be on an upward trend anymore in terms of performance.

Spurs have looked much much more average than usual. But they're getting results. Ya.

I'm not expecting anything from them this season, think they'll battle for fourth with Arsenal though. Be shocked if they achieve anything more than that.

Playing average and grinding out results. Spurs have become last year's United.

At 10th place United has now become last year's Newcastle Proud

No big deal, I expect to get a result and it being a tough match. No drama either way as we don't need anything from it, United on the other hand could go down to EL again.

For you, the day Juventus graced your village club was the most important day of your season. But for me, it was Tuesday

In fairness to Spurs, they've been without Alli and Eriksen for longer than usual. They don't have much creativity otherwise.

I'd still expect them to turn up to the big games and at least make it difficult.

Disagree, Spurs were plenty creative in the last game and unlucky not to score more, and Allí gives nothing for creativity anyways.

Think spurs will get 4 points from those 3 games.

Happy that Spurs are doing bad in Europe. In a way that will help them perform better against our rival teams Laughing
Hopefully they will at least draw the game against ManCity !

Looks quite bad. New Stadium won't be playable till next year.

They have also tied themselves into a deal with Nike for 10-13 years...

Building a new stadium was never going to be easy, especially with Brexit looming. Makes you appreciate how straightforward the construction of the Emirates was a decade ago. hmm

This is just the beginning, too. Funds will be tight for a while.

Klopp: "I don't think anybody has an idea at the moment how good Shaq can be. Signing him was a logical thing to do. He's still not the finished article. He still has a lot of space for improvement and that's really good. He gives us something different.“

Who would of guessed that from all our new shiny midfield signings this season Shaqiri would be the best one so far? Laughing
I didn't expect anything from him tbh, but I'm surprised he's been amazing so far

Is he saying United has sunk to Everton's level? Mina and Gomes are not signings to write home about ffs.

you mean, you lot should appreciate Wenger and even his last few years which have led foundation for Emery to build on hmm

We do. hmm

Arsenal never would have gotten the loan to build the Emirates without the guarantee of Wenger signing a new contract back around 2005. He even helped design the thing. The only one more influential than Wenger in the stadium move was late director Danny Fiszman. Then Wenger helped keep the club in decent financial shape by delivering Champions League football every season. It took a while for fans to realise this because the 2004 title win was still in people's minds so expectations weren't adjusted accordingly.

The last five years are a different story, but I don't need to go into that again.
