Moreover 4th place doesn't mean safe CL place now, imagine if Napoli win Champions League and Roma win Europa League .................................
hmm

Oh really? That's surprising to hear. How could anyone have known, except literally everyone who watched him at Arsenal lmao.

Everyone knew what kind of player he is but I still expect him to be better. He has the role of the most attacking of the midfield 3 and he still isnt good enough for it. Putting the lightest of responsibilities on him exposes him. Far cry from Rabiot and Khedira.

Looks wonderful in a match until the pressure starts.

What's going to happen later this summer? Pjanic is leaving, who's coming?

Wait, I don't want to talk about it really. Too depressed about Thiago most probably leaving us who is the best midfielder in the world.

Arthur is coming in the Pjanic swap.

Kulusevski is coming, likely, for Bernardeschi.

Another midfielder is being targeted, the most likely name seems like Jorginho atm. A better fit than anyone else for the Pjanic role. Locatelli is another one for this season or next.

Zaniolo to Juve has been hot. Massive move if it happens but its unclear.

That would fix our midfield and playmaking capabilities a lot.

Honestly think Jorginho will happen, It's pretty clear Lampard doesn't want him and Sarri is his best bet.

biglia... gave away pk and now on buildup for atalanta goal.... sigh...
even gabbia and calabria are playing better than him

if we need to salvage anything from this game biglia should be replaced w/ krunic or even bonaventura
others are doing just fine atm

very good first half no complaints, biglia is the only issue in this first 11 atm others doing great job than expectation (esp the back) kjaer keeping things good. kessie meanwhile feel bad for him now that he is covering biglia's work too.
killer goal by hakan, ibra, rebic doing good as well . want to see a bit more of alexis salemaekers to provide some support upfront

lol thought the same .... referee was super lenient i actually thought he was going to give biglia red. should have been red
our cases were reviewed also and had others sent off ... i cant remember which game but a recent one.

really lucky to stay on pitch ; that could have gone horribly wrong for malinovsky....

i know .... actually biglia has been a problem everytime he plays .. he is too slow, gets challenge ill timed looses ball cheaply ; still dont know why pioli is risking slow biglia when he had still better options

considering the entire defense being wiped out w/ injuries or suspension and an individual mistake from biglia which led to a goal, milan actually played well as a team. from individual point of view, esp. from alex saelemaekers left it lot to be desired, and should have done better.

quite impressed that we created chances but finishing was one of those only lacking.
MOTM - kessie

still am not sold how this team can really show up for next season ; ibra did quite good today

this is the first time in a while that i saw atalanta actually struggle a bit ; considering we didnt have anyone in defense im satisfied w/ results ;

very lucky with biglia not getting red or referee didnt review zapata shot hit straight to kjaer arm but otherwise our weakness was not enough coming from saelemaekers

Yes, honestly I expected Milan to lose it today
Out Theo, Bennacer, Romagnoli and you play against Atalanta ( imagine Gabbia vs Atalanta player)..

for me they weren't brillaint also against Hellas and Bologna ... their pace has fallen and it's normal otherwise they'd not be humans

i feared another 5-1 thrashing ; this time at home but our guys didnt sudder. gabbia was really concerning when playing SPAL or other games he was so scared of even getting ball. what i liked tonight was that he was probably instructed like if there are risk, with no one to back you up just shoot it anywhere or head it for throw ins. he did exactly that he didnt take risk, also i am liking that our team mates came tracking back to help him out

for example if gabbia drawn out of position to man mark someone; kessie dropped back to take that place ; or when he was starting to build up from the back, ibra actually dropped really deep to help him out.

other thing is that individually we were lacking but team work was brilliant. the constant pressing, one touch football, and even as far as off ball movement was excellent ; just finishing or ball on final third was bad ; saelemaekers had like ample opportunities.

XD we will see what this team is made up post covid XD but well done really no complains our guys did what they had to do. biglia the only disaster
and would 100% admit that we got a big helping hand from referee's decision - biglia should have been sent off, zapata shot hit kjaer's hand that should have been 100% pk

they werent ; i see ; well we know that hellas are now carbon copying atalanta XD
bologna is a tough nut to crack w sinisa ;
actually they played w/ their near first team players who all were in top form ; i liked how kjaer handled zapata !
gomez though is a pain to defend he never stays idle.

atalanta has become a team without playing well still gets away with many goals, they looked dangerous tonight too ; like muriel after coming team became scary.

we have yet to settle that 5-1 score w/ atalanta though
