UCL SF 2019/20 | Bayern München Vs Olympique Lyonnais

Must be a devastating feeling for OL and as my favourite French team I am disheartened. They've been valiant and not choosing to stay on the backfoot but Bayern are just too good for them.

Underdog stories in the form of OL usually go through twice in surprise to the semis to even finals but never thrice.


And worse off Bayern are the same team that ended their dream 10 years ago. And at that not a Bayern not as good as this and a much better Lyon than this current one.

Can name several huge CL games Lewandowski has performed in let alone for Dortmund. Heck for Dortmund he literally got them to the final and ripped Real Madrid apart

I agree that Lewa is a choker but Neymar’s finishing has been even worse in the last two games. Not really convinced he’ll do much better in the final.

This match proves exactly what I’ve been talking about all along.

Lewandowski has been off this game but Nerman hasn't exactly lit up the CL himself either so no point comparing especially when Lewa has scored 14 fucking goals this season in the tourney.

Thiago is the best midfielder in the world. Whether this is the first time said on this forum or multiple idc but it is true and has been for over a year now.

Lewandowski has been mediocre in CL for the past few years. For the standards of an elite CL striker in elimination games, he has sucked. All those semis Bayern lost in the past 4 years, are also due to him choking and not showing up.

I don’t even want to hear any comparison with Neymar here, two different dimensions of players. Neymar is light years a better footballer and does a lot more things on the pitch than just scoring.

Someone needs to call out the hypocrisy.

And likely he is to even if he does not suit the system per say but he is versatile enough to adapt without losing what makes him who he is. If we are stingy for what Bayern are offering I will never forget this miss.

I dont remember any big game performance for Lewadowski since the 2013 semifinals. This game is further proving he chokes in big matches. Good striker but so far not proving he's a big game player and he should be grateful Bayern is stacked with great players to win these type of games, and people would forget about his performance

Yeah agreed with Nick. At least when Neymar’s finishing is ass he contributes so much to the game. When Lewa isn’t scoring he doesn’t have the same kind of impact which is a natural thing for CF’s.

Against Chelsea he was involved in all seven goals...
