I like this verdict, I prefer watching best matches, so better Spain against Italy or Belgium
and at the end Spain deserved it today

Not to mention Sommer was unbelievable. I’m actually cheering for Italy now as I believe they are a better matchup for us.

Another dire display despite the chances created as yes I am accused of underrating Switzerland but there is no such gameplan for us that makes me confident that this is anything but overachieving and lets be honest, an easy path to the semi-finals as only in Italia now we face a good team.

Happy nonetheless but extra time will be bad to play against possession heavy Italy will will by large out-possess Enrique's team.

didnt get to see full game but my god... the swiss pk was horrible... what was that ....
two players both hits low on the same right side of GK with no POWer no confidence ... that was really easy save.. atleast the another swiss player who also aimed on the right with power but skied.

nevertheless very commendable performance by Swiss team

Spain are very lucky. Teams who miss the chances they miss, usually get punished with defeat.

I will argue to the death about Unai Simon and im glad he is getting vindication, great goalkeeper and could be one of the vest best if he irons out the occasional errors.

The Spain backline is very weak though, they just arent dealing with danger well and if Spain cannot quickly recover balls with the counter press they are in serious danger constantly.
