Some info about Hajduk Split:
Hajduk Split will be Barça’s first opponents this summer as the European Champions take part in the Croatian team’s centenary celebrations. Hadjuk finished second behind Dynamo Zagreb in the Croatian League last season and will have their big new signing, the Bulgarian coach Krassimir Balakov –ex teammate of Hristo Stoichkov – in charge for the match.
The second spot in the league means that Hadjuk will be in the Europa League next season - a competition they will join in the third round alongside teams such as Atletico Madrid – and if they progress they will be into the Group stages.
Striker Ante Vukusic, with 14 goals, was the team’s leading league scorer and was only beaten by Dynamo’s Krstanovic with 19 in last season’s competition.

I doubt it. Normally it is 2 different sides per half and they will split up the best players.
So something like this...
Valdes
Dalmau - Pique - Rosell - Abidal
Thiago - Gustavo - Keita
Pedro - Soriano - Afellay
then
Pinto
Balliu - Armando - Fontas - Maxwell
JDS - Busquets - Iniesta
Lobato - Villa - Jeffren
Dalmau - Pique - Rosell - Abidal
Thiago - Gustavo - Keita
Pedro - Soriano - Afellay
then
Pinto
Balliu - Armando - Fontas - Maxwell
JDS - Busquets - Iniesta
Lobato - Villa - Jeffren
Sidenote: 2 Aussies play for Hadjuk split!!!

makes sense... agree..
i was trying to find the best possible lineup..
but like u said Guardiola usually plays with all 22 players in the match, 2 different line-up in each half, this is what he has been doing @ Barca (pre-season) since became a coach..
your line-ups are logical.. although i hate armando! lol don't think he should be called.. but we don't have alot of options (alot of first team & B teams players won't be available)!!

I don't like Armando either, but he will play, we need 8 defenders.

Don't take that much pictures. Enjoy the game!
Armando is not that bad, but I understand the dislike, because he is sooo old for a Barça Atlètic!

Yeah. Too old and blocking chances for Muniesa, Gomez, Bartra and Rosell. However, we do need an experienced guy in the squad to help these guys, especially considering Fontas was such a leader before.

What were we to do? We gave 45 minutes game time to every big name player who was available.
Re: Pre-season: Match #1 Hajduk Split vs Barca
Boring and average first half, quite good second half. A pitty we didn't score, although we had the chances. I feel bad for Cholla, but in the end it was quite a good game for a friendly. Impressive the Hajduk fans, so loud and constant!
I missed more movement from our wide men and our full-backs. I always say, to create spaces, you need wingers to move from out wide to cut in, and fullbacks push up, and our wingers didn't today. Mostly because our wingers played in their natural side, so they are more prone to stay wide.
I was impressed by Isaac Cuenca, very nice dribling and ball control, although not very fast. Jeffren, Dos Santos and Afellay were quite poor. Carmona terrible. Thiago, Iniesta and Soriano did quite good.

Im just telling you how most ppl fell about it here, and that is Barca "fkd us over"...
I bearly even watched the game, and its Hajduk(fierce rivals of "my" Dinamo) so i dont really give a shit, im just a messenger here.
Hajduk payed a lot of money and ppl payed a lot of money to see the game, and in the end they saw boring game with 80% of the team was "some bunch of kids we never even heard of"...
Like i said i dont give a shit, im just saying how it is, and that is "barca fkd us"

Not to disrespect Croats or Hajduk fans: but if they expected Barça to field a strong 11 in the first match of the season, they are deluded. Also, the stars missing were just injured or unavailable, they can't complain about anything.
If the match was boring, Hajduk are more guilty than us. We tried to attack, they did a mourinho.

Re: Pre-season: Match #1 Hajduk Split vs Barca
Debut and a draw in Split (0-0)
Line-ups:
`1st Half
Valdes
Dalmau - Armando - Fontas - Lobato
JDS - Kieta - Thiago
Carmona - Villa - Afellay
`2nd Half
Pinto
Balliu - Rosell - Abidal - Maxwell
Riverola - Busq - Iniesta
Ceunca - Soriano - Jeffren
-----------------------------------
Barça drew against Hajduk Split in the first preseason game. Despite their clear superiority in terms of play, possession and chances, Guardiola’s team were unable to beat Subasic in the Hajduk goal. Villa, Soriano, and Jeffren had the best chances.
56 days after Wembley, Barça showed their style to the world once again. In the game to celebrate Hajduk Split’s centenary, Barça played seriously and gave everything, but couldn’t break through the web woven by the Croatian side, who have already started their league campaign, and are probably more match-fit. So, Guardiola remains unbeaten in preseason debuts.
Thiago magic
Thiago Alcantara was the most active player on the pitch in the first few minutes, creating danger with his running into space and precision passing. Thiago took the lead role in midfield, bringing his teammates into the game, and providing some great balls for David Villa, who had a few chances, and hit the post in the 16th minute with a superb strike from outside the area.
Villa kept trying
After failing to score with his first attempt, Villa had the chance to score Barça’s first goal of the season, a couple of times more. The first came in the 30th minute, when he came very close from a free-kick in a good position outside the box. In the 39th minute he tried the same thing again, but this time his shot hit the defensive wall and was easily dealt with.
Eleven changes at half-time
Coming in at the break 0-0, Pep Guardiola decided to bring on all eleven players from the bench. Despite the good work of the first 45 minutes, in the second half the team was totally different. Bringing on Riverola into midfield gave the team more depth, and this helped to gain even more possession of the ball.
Jeffren and Soriano came close
Jeffren and Jonathan Soriano had the best chances in the second half. Jeffren was very active for the whole half and his cut inside and cross-shot almost put Barça ahead. Jonathan Soriano also came really close and his shot, in the 64th minute, was centimetres outside the post. Barça played with their usual style, and created chances, but this time they just didn’t have any luck at all.
Tuesday, second game
Next Tuesday, 26th of July, at 18.15, Barça will have their second pre-season game, in the Audi Cup, against Internacional of Porto Alegre. It might be the opportunity to get their first win of the pre-season.
