Its so strange that Brazil have been blessed at LW but so bad at RW since both Antony n Raphinha seem so limited... both have little pace n one footed means they struggle to beat players or just even be a threat in general?

Re: Champions League 2023/24 | Group A
looks like Maguire is heading to the long term injury list now, we're fudged
I'm far from a Maguire fan but bringing Evans on against Bayern in the CL, Whew, floodgates about to open, Liverpool probably spank us by 3 more goals now too

Surprised we kept it 'competitive' for as long as we did with this team and the injuries. But that'll do it. game over now and Copenhagen are beating Gala anyway.

ETH should be sacked for the DDG and Onana debacle alone tbh
he's 95% of the reason
I think I read that as of the previous GW we were CL topscorers lol

Re: Champions League 2023/24 | Group A
Cant help but feel in many ways our two clubs have been a bit similar situation in the past few yrs But we managed better on the field at least, n hence Xavi deserves a lot of praise which he doesnt get. Whereas b4 Ten Hag got so much... but only a matter of time now I think. Though I think EPL gets 5 CL spots next season so if he manages that might keep him around hopefully XD

especially when you consider that only 2 La Liga teams have ever won CL (or the European Cup, as it was known previously). EPL has 6.
And you'd think that with Madrid having 15, La Liga would be far ahead... but no. EPL has 15 CLs while La Liga has 19. Unless Madrid keeps winning many more, I believe EPL will catch up in the next 10 years as well.

Re: Champions League 2023/24 | Group A
You have been saying that for past 5 years! If you look at Combined CL / EL, the numbers balance out. I will acknowledge that EPL normally has a stronger top 4 or 5 (definitely not this year), but the liga teams 3 to 6 or 7 do quite well in EL. I think la liga is more competitive overall, thus more interesting.
The two biggest hypers of this so called Goat league, Gunner and Firenze have 1 team that hasn’t been relative to Top 4 status for at least a decade until last two years and the other team hasn’t been relative for well over a decade.

Re: Champions League 2023/24 | Group A
Premier League's top teams alternate, while La Liga top teams are always the same. It is what it is.
Premier League has more money than any other league and will naturally have more strong teams. Sometimes even Championship teams spend more than Italian top teams.
But EPL is also the most overrated league on the planet, their salaries and media bias have them convinced that they are the best players but come CL and WC most of those players get a reality check and get smashed by Real or Barca and England NT gets dumped home quickly.

Re: Champions League 2023/24 | Group A
Over the moon to see United crash out and saw it live. There is not one single player I would take from United for LFC bar Luke Shaw and maybe Maguire when he is good.
Antony is an overrated cringe mess of a player. I have no idea why he was rated so highly before coming to United. Garnacho himself is nothing special.
And I had the fits of laughter when I came back from my kitchen and saw Jonny Evans on and quite literally had to shake my head awake and asked myself...Is that...Jonny evans????
It was odd to see because I was looking at a player straight from the treasured squad of SAF himself just with a bald spot.
I admit usually Im a fan of these moves where such veterans are brought back to steel the locker room and he clearly was brought back for the same and usually the players in the back who aren't so good initially end up their best via experience and are quite reliable.
May I have any United fans thoughts on him in SAF's time and now?

And how ETH isn't sacked is insane. Once again, a poor mans Wenger and isn't doing anything to impress anyone.

Even at their peak Man Utd got humbled by Barca twice in finals not long ago. Your nonsensical takes are an emblematic representation of what United has become as a club

If I’m biased what the hell are you?
So as of today, your so called GOAT league has only 2 teams remaining in CL while our underrated liga has 4!
And all 6 teams were 1st in their groups and therefore in Pool 1. Take a good look at who in Pool 2 and there isn’t a darkhorse in there!
