I find it confusing that Barca have claimed Arsenal are willing to sell Cesc for the right price now, yet Arsene is still saying he will not sell unless he has no choice. Do you guys think this means that Wenger is trying to seem innocent but is still willing to sell Cesc, or that Barca are exaggerating the extent to which they are in "negotiations" for him? I would like to think the second one myself...

I also just read that Spurs want to sign Adebayor on a loan. If he accepts that, he would really be burning the last, narrow, rickety bridge he had left with Arsenal.

We are apparently in for Mathias Jørgensen, the 21 year old skipper of FC Copenhagen, for 5 million. This seems like a trademark Wenger signing. The boy looks built and has Champions league experience. This will be your defecive signing of the summer lol!

Now move on to sign another DM and we are good.

^^^ but more importantly, we shoudl get him before otehr clubs follow the "Arsene Wenger" trail. I would definately opt to sign this guy over the Brazilian (who will want to move away to europe after few seasons ), Cahill (for being expencive), Samba (see Cahill)

Bartley does not impress me with his caveman like tackling and defending. He will cost us games with redcards! lol btw Arsenal and tottenham are apparently aslo in for some defender from NEPAL!!!! If that guy is anywhere half as brave as your avrage Gurkha soldier, i am sold Very Happy

According to football news sources North London club Arsenal have today confirmed that they have almost completed the £22 million signing of French international and Bayern Munich winger Franck Ribery as they look to continue to build a squad capable of challenging for the Premier League title.

The sources are claiming that the German giants have decided that they are willing to sell the winger following a struggling season that failed to deliver silverware to the club this season but with the Frenchman failing to feature for much of the season due to injury, the main reason that the club are thought to have been willing to discuss the transfer.
