Joel Campbell can f*ck off to United for all I care.

At least at Arsenal he could convince Wenger to give him some first team chances.

He's not going to get ahead of Valencia, Young, Nani, Park, Giggs, and even Rooney who can play the flanks.

That is just their way of saying they will not be signing Cesc this summer. Read between the lines fellows. Obviously Pepper can't say that he won't sign Cesc this summer and incur the wrath of the Catalans. So he puts it in a polished way that their target is not a midfielder. Good enough for me, now they can go take a hike till next summer.

I want to see Cesc take that contract extension to 2017. Would pretty much end this BS.

We are well supplied in our own youth ranks in the forward positions. Campbell was just a luxury. If they can be disrespectful enough to not show up and then tout some lame alibis, screw them. We have been professional about the entire deal. We haven't been squeaking to the local media through the process. We are very much justified in pulling out. Humberto Campbell can rub his nose in the mud.

Zoran Tosic is actually a good player who's doing well for CSKA Moskva. He just never got a proper chance to shine at United.

Anyway, Humberto Campebll is clearly only interested in the money. He's only thinking short term: which move would allow my son to make more money? Completely ignoring that, in the long term, Campbell has very little chance of breaking into United's first team, with Rooney, Hernandez, Macheda and Welbeck all there.

Wouldn't surprise me if the kid ended up in Eastern Europe somewhere.

Its good for us really, with the amount talent out there we dont need another Ade. He will be one of those guys who will regret this for the rest of his life.

Brazil midfielder Felipe Melo has claimed he is set to leave Juventus in the "next few days".

He said: "I've received an offer from Europe that will vastly improve my salary. We're finalising the details.

"We're finalising the details and over the next few days everything should be completed.

"I was not cut from the Juventus squad. Quite simply, in agreement with the directors, we decided it was inconvenient that I should only play in Serie A, considering my salary and the contract that runs to 2014."

But seriously, how much does Melo earn? Would be good to have him here to rotate with Song and would be a welcome addition but I don't see it happening.

This one is from the Guardian so it probably is somewhat true.

We have to set a deadline for Barcelona otherwise this will rumble on for the rest of the summer. That is not good for anybody, especially us and Fabregas.

Filepe Melo is joining one of Paris St. Germain or Galatasary, not us. I don't think we've been legimately interested in him since he left Fiorentina three years ago.

Melo earns like 70kpw or something at Juve. We're definitely not giving him that much cash for a bench role.

Ribéry ain't coming, either. Bayern aren't going to sell him, he's happy there. And he also earns like 150kpw or some silly ammount.
