With Lacazette, Benzia, Grenier and Reale we have some promising talents.

You rarely win league titles with that but we should see some good spectacle this year at Gerland. We are broke, can not buy any player and have trouble to remove the dead weight, but we should target the top 3 again. Racing against paris will be close to impossible unfortunately.

On another note, I really hope Gourcuff is injury free finally and can give his best.

If the right price is offered 15-20 millions €, he will leave. But I am not sure a big club is searching a goalkeeper right now.

Apparently Aulas is saying that Lloris is staying one more year, but it could be to up his price as Tottenham is not offering the money I think.

We signed Bisevac from PSG.

It was planned that we gave PSG 2.5 millions and Reveillere in the process. But Reveillere did not pass the medical and PSG refused him.

So we got Bisevac for 2.75+500 000 of incentives.

The club is also trying to extchanges Grenier+Pied against Nice left back Monzon + 2 millions.

It probably means we are selling Cissokho and maybe recruiting Corgnet. But apparently, Grenier is not really happy about leaving to Nice and has not yet accepted.

I would like Grenier to stay and I don't rate Monzon as much as the club do.

We beat Valenciennes 3-2, and that was a good match.

Malbranque was surprising. He looked nothing like I expected. I thought that he was completely washed up but played very well. Clever, incisive, always fighting for the ball and opening with good passes. He teamed up very well with Grenier as well.

On the bad side, we still have no defense. But we are playing for scoring a lot at home, definitely. Lacazette earned a penalty but missed two good chances. He still is not in the rythm.

On another note, Bastos is staying, at least until the mercato winter and possibly much longer.

I am very happy about that. His start of the season has been great. Already 3 goals in 144 minutes played. I hope he can keep up this form.

The two players coming back from an injury scored, with Lovren from a Grenier corner and Lisandro from a quick counter played by Briand and Malbranque.

The Serbian-Croatian defense , that should be our main defense for the whole season was interesting. Lovren especially feel the situations very well. Both are physical, hard on the man and able to send the ball quickly and properly.

I liked the miefield who controlled the match. Gonalons was very good, always intercepting or gaining the ball on his opponent. Malbranque was the good link, fought like a dog in the miedfiel and always looking to bring the additional support in the offensive as demonstrated in Lisandro goal where he assisted. Grenier is more and more comfortable playing, notably with his shots. The confidence he gained by scoring two weeks ago his first ligue 1 goal was showing. He shot much more and quite well.

In the attack, Gomis worked well and could have scored. Lisandro had an average day despite his goal. That was his only opportunity of the match and he took it well.

But playing him on the left wing is not using him well. Bastos was also less good than in the previous matchs as he played right wing. That has to change. Lisandro should play instead Gomis as the main striker while Bastos should play always left wing.

What crime did Steeeeeeeed commit to end up at a Lyon.

He started here and can consider him very happy we gave him a contract at this point of his career. It was a huge bet.

Lisandro saved us. We played terrible until the 75th minute of the match. Once more we are completelly hopeless away. Unable to play our game, unable to complete even simple pass forward.

Mvuemba, his first start, was simply shit. Beyond terrible.

Garde totally messed up by replacing our working 4-2-3-1 by a poor 4-4-2 with Briand coming back and being unable to achieve a simple control of the ball.

But as we usually always lose away to Lille, I guess there is some positive here.... We are still second as well.

Does anyone here know the respectability of itaportpress.it? They claim that Yann Sommer is monitored by AC Milan who might want to make a move for him next summer and Olympique Lyon is supposed to be interested, too. As the latter just let go of Lloris, there is quite a vacancy after all...

Never heard this name honestly.


Exciting game vs Lorient, that ended into a draw. We dominated the first half add a lot of opportunities. Lorient dominated the second and Alliadere had an excellent game. Overall not a bad result, winning at Lorient is never easy on that fake grass and with the current form of Gourcuff's team. But we are not advancing since 3 matchs, only two points.

We desperatly needs to win our next 3 matchs in order to get back on the right track before the Marseille match.

We totally dominated Reims.

3-0, 17 shots to 2, 60% possession. Lisandro and Gomis scored (plus a own goal on a great Reveillere action)

We are now two points above Paris, with one game in hand (altough hard, away against Marseille).

We are leader before the Marseille-Bordeaux match and we have a good goal average.

The team is playing well for the moment, in the first positions in Ligue 1, 4/4 victories in Europa League, scoring a lot of goals and having always a good possession. Hope it continues

How's Gourcuff doing? Heard he was in form.

Honestly he was very average in this match. He played a good match when he came back from injury, but I can't say that he is in good form before I see him play well a few times.

I really love the midfield of Gourcuff-Gonalons-Malbranque.

Grenier played the two matchs as a starter and I find him better than Gourcuff.
