I am astonished at how bad we are. Awful in defense and missing a lot of chances in attack. I start to be very worried.

Garde has interest in making a lot more work than what he is doing now if he does not want to be a failure.

We need to buy a lot of players as soon as possible. Our squad (with Cissokho and Bastos leaving) is way too weak.

Garde said that between Cissokho courted by Liverpool and Bastos courted by Juventus, he wants to keeps one of them and sell one of them but not sell both.

And now Ederson injured at least 3 months so we can't even sell him. This is a disaster. He came for 15 millions, is a total flop and will leave for free next season.

Pjanic also out for 2-3 weeks and Gourcuff injured too. This beginning is very bad.

Reale (19) and Fontaine(20) officially signed their first pro contract.

Good for Reale, I believe he can become an important first team player in a few years. However I don't expect anything from Fontaine.

Hard to say.

I like his talk and philosophy but in the 2 matchs the players missed a dozen of clear chance and the defense was very bad. He tried all the players available.

My opinion is that he does not have a full squad and that without a DM and a CB we can't achieve a lot.

It is a shame that OL spends so much when a shit coach like Puel is at helm, and then give Garde nothing and expect him to challenge better than Puel did

Ndinga wants to come, he is going to the clash with Auxerre. Auxerre refused 5 millions, next offer will probably be more important. He is our main target but his current club is resisting.

Bastos might stay after all, since Juventus does not want to pay him. The club offered him a contract extension.

Gourcuff had a surgery, at least two months of not playing for him.

He has not played in what, 4 months? That would make a 6 months break at least without playing any football match. What a flop.

We needs at least one CB but the club has no money and will probably keep Mensah and promote a young (Fontaine). Mensah is always injured and Fontaine does not have L1 level. Our defense will be our weakness again.

We don't have money to buy because we failed to get rid of players we wanted out like Ederson , Kallstrom, Bastos most notably.

Finally we won a match.

We beat Porto 2-1 yesterday with Lisandro and Bastos scoring. Porto dominated most of the match and created more chances.

In friendlies we did defeat against Salzburg and Genk, then draw against Donestk and finally victory over Porto.

We still have no creator available in midfield and I have found Gonalons very weak yesterday against Porto midfield. Kallstrom was also bad.

We will meet Rubin Kazan in Qualification round of CL.

I think that we did not get an easy draw. It is almost the hardest opponent that we could have gotten, especially since we don't seem ready yet with all our playmakers out because of injuries or youth WC.

We will see at what level we are tonight against Nice.

We won 1-3 at Nice.

That was a good match with chances to score. We started badly conceding at the 5th minute on corner and we could not breath. Then Lisandro equalized with a good goal. Then we took control of the match. Gomis and Gonalons scored the other goals.

Lisandro, Gomis, Briand, Kallstrom were good and Gonalons stepped up in second half. We played attacking and had some good inspiration despite the lack of our playmakers.

Our defense is still shaky and vulnerable and we conceded too much occasions but it is a good start overall. I am happy with that match.

3-1 away from home is a good result. good to see Lopez scoring and Gonalons playing well

Remi Garde said that he was happy with the win and with how the players responded to his tactics. He aknowledged that we had still progress to do and that Nice had some strong time but he liked how the team was playing together, how the players were helping each other, how the pressing was done as worked in the training.

He said that we took risks because we wanted to produce and create on the pitch. He added that he noticed that all the players took a lot of pleasure playing this match and being on the field, (something that was completely absent when Puel was there). He said that more the players will be happy and will enjoy playing the more it will be easy to play like he wants us to do.

Continue the good work and the positive Remi. I hope he will be able to get the DM that he wants.

Finally Bastos is staying. Juventus was not willing to meet the price and Bastos is ok with staying. There are talks to renew his contract.

It will add depth to our squad and will maintain the talent level. Garde probably count of Bastos as he played a lot in preparation and first match. He has the potential to score 10-15 goals each season.

But in the other hand, it make things harder for us to sign players. Auxerre have set a deadline tomorrow for NDinga transfert.

We needed a CB (CRis is injured and Mensah as usual). But this unknown player was unexpected.

Nobody expected that! Not a single rumor about him, not a single.

He played 75 matchs in L2 (winning the french cup) and 35 match in third division last year. Imagine that, he was playing third league last season, started the championship of L2 of this season then suddendly in 3 days, OL come, sign him in a record time , he trained today with the team and will maybe (probably?) start tomorrow and even maybe in the champion's league wednesday if Cris is unfit. Crazy.

I hope it is another Koscielny.
