So when Higuain scored a hattrick or whenever benzema does... this forum goes bizzare, as you see 200+ posts discussing them, but when Ronaldo scores... its like a given? no one reacts.

I love all the players in Real Madrid! not a fan boy of anyone, but... You all have to admit you take CR7 for a given,

Yes, he is taken for granted on the forum. as whole, even though though he is, arguably, the most all around skilled player ont he planet.

Further, while I odn't persire the forum intensely, I have read enough of it and seen enough games to notice that ( at least from my prespective ) Higuain gets a pass ( no pun ) on his apparent selfishness while Ronaldo is berated for his selfishness ( and he has exibited much of it, over his career ).

Messi, conversely, seems to be revered, on the Barca forum and, actually, "all over". It could be a variation of "the hate me cause I'm rich, skilled and handsome" ( or whatever Ronaldo said ).

Ronaldo is a Lion, he'll always get the lion's share and he'll always have his millions of followers and fans (me included) to stand up for him. I think he's a phenomenon.

Higuain is a hyena, he has to fight for scraps, otherwise he'll lose his spot. If I and a few others don't stand up for Higuain, who will? Also it's not like Pipa doesn't pass or set up team mates, he has dozens of times and Ronaldo has been on the end of a lot of them.

Also I thought the whole "Ronaldo is selfish" thing was an exaggeration. He still the same dude doing his thing, only difference is that he's in great form and the things he is trying are coming off more consistently.

My biggest concern is Cristiano's attitude. It doesn't bother me that he's put in a couple of low-key performances because he is a human being and everyone is going to have bad games once in a while. But it's that pissy, whining attitude that is very unhealthy for the team. Someone else pointed out that occasion when Higuain tried to pass to CR7 when he should have gone for goal and related it to how CR7 always whines when Pipita goes for goal instead of passing. I completely agree.. when Higuain has the ball he feels under pressure to pass to CR7 when a shot at goal might be a good option. Someone needs to talk to Ronaldo and tell him to stop behaving like this.
