Guidolin: “I would have avoided Arsenal, but I have faith in my squad”

Nyon’s draw has given Udinese a very tough play-off and Francesco Guidolin admits he would have rather avoided to face Arsenal: “In my personal play-off “playlist" I would have avoided it, but any other challenge would have been tough anyway. This is the last chance for us to go to Champions and we’ll do our best - the coach said to UdineseCalcio.tv -. Arsenal are one of the strongest teams, with a long tradition, yet we'll face them with courage and enthusiasm, trying to be ready as the match starts. First leg is an away match? It is absolutely non influential”.

Guidolin pointed out the confidence in his group: “It doesn’t matter what they did last year, this year they’ve never given up and they’re not going to do it, this is all that matters to me".

I doubt Fabregas and Nasri will leave at this stage... although you never know. If we lose both then I'd agree with you.

I have blind faith that Wenger will open up and sign a decent LB.

You sure are hopeful mate.. I think chances are higher of us going for a new GK or a CF than buying a LB because "we have Gibbs and Traore and Vermaelen can play there as well". #sarcasm Evil or Very Mad

I dont think there is any chance for a LB.. But we will probably sign the much awaited CB and may be an unknown midfielder if Fabregas or Nasri leaves...
