give him time and a constant partner before u start judging him....it's only been 3 games..... and he has played with 4 different people in mid...

Well ramsey isny a complete player, and he cant play against big teams, i dont know why wenger rushes him because lad needs time and confidence, the best thing about him is his shot, but hopefully with experience he will do good.

well there is no one else atm he can play.......and you never know ramsey might even leave if we start benching him more seeing that he is wales starter and captain

He is under pressure and so i everyone at arsenal. Cesc who was captain of arsenal and a key player has left arsenal and Nasri situation is uncertain. Plus injuries so you cant really blame him. Give him some time and iam sure he and wilshere will do great together.

I think we are expecting too much from him by asking to replace Cesc...

I've always believed Ramsey was not ready to start for us and I still believe that, he didnt want the ball today and kept hiding behind his midfield markers when the defense had the ball, one of the main reasons why we struggled so much to build from the back

I honestly hope he can man up cos we have few options, I'll be a much happier man when Willy gets back cos right now our team looks disgusting midfield especially

and I think today was the answer to those who thought Ramsey is/was/has more potential than Willy,

not knee jerk reaction btw I've watched Ramsey alot and he does alot of immature things on the pitch still

We need to get someone in with creativity and experience for him and Willy to learn from

There is a big difference between wilshere and ramsey and we can see today that the comparison last year was wrong. wilshere puts 110% in the game unlike ramsey who is a spectator for most of the games.

give Ramsey sometime,,he will perform....i kinda feel he was a lil bit intimidated while playing with Nasri in the mid...

The role is playing doesn't suit him....wenger wants him to be the playmaker but he is not that type of player , he is a midfielder with a bit of everything, good stamina,good technique, dribbling,passing.

I think at his age...you are asking too much of him to be the playmaker, he needs a hand from his mate jack.

Give him some time.

Our squad is crap, now why the hell can wenger not find better players? I know a few down the street that are better then what he put on the pitch today.

I wouldn't say Ramsey is not as good as he was before the injury. Before the injury he wasn't exactly a permanent fixture in our starting lineup, and he only actually had a few shining performances. At this point in his career he has never been world class yet, but IMO he is as good right now as he always has been. I think he needs to be played in a more advanced position though.

Regardless, I have faith that he will be a really good player for us. We can't just crucify him every time he has a bad performance.

Ramsey has a great future. Sure, he had a shit game but we all know that's not his position and if he's to learn it it will take some time. You forget how he bossed United only last season? Wait for Wilshere to come back; they have great chemistry.

We DO need an experienced guy to rotate with him, because relying on Rosicky makes me cry.

the thing is I'm not over reacting, Ramsey despite all the hype has only had a handful of strong performance, that season where he broke his leg he had only JUST started getting in the team due to good performances, he hadn't been shinning all season

he is not imho good enough to start in the center of our midfield yet, he does too many things which are immature

taking the ball off his own players feet
making consecutive poor passes in dangerous areas which get intercepted
holding on the ball for too long sometimes

i do think Ramsey can be class but his learning curve is not as steep as willy and I think we will be making a big mistake if we go into the season expecting him to take over from Cesc

fabregas was same when he was 18. yes Ramsey is doing it at 20 but fabregas was special

Fabregas also spent time with legends such as Henry, Pires, Viera, Bergkamp... he must have learned a lot from them.

Sadly, we don't have such living idols or experienced winners in our ranks, currently.

I thought he didn't play bad he switched the ball well played some decent balls behind the defence.
On defence he wasn't himself though, but he is 20 asking for him to consistently preform at a high level is a huge ask.
