He was just about to sign for Lille, when Arsenal pretty much hijacked the deal. Supposedly Lille's president went apeshit and swore a lot... according to French media, at least.

he was supposed to sign for Lille today. Actually, he had passed the first part of the medical visit and was in his hotel waiting for the second.

Then he just took off, left his hotel roon, and went to London... Lille people were fuming today

he is a skillful player, for those who dont know him, he does everything, fast, very good technique, good dribbler, can pass and assist, he is a modern forward, meaning he can play SS, CF, WF, ala pedro, although he is taller and stronger.

But there is always a catch, a reason why he didnt take off in france, he is an injury prone machine.

Look at it this way. You were about to sign Hazard having medical at Arsenal and then Pep said he's interested and Hazard suddenly left London and went to Barcelona. Wouldn't you be at least a bit mad at Barca?
